I am not hear to criticize any Pastor specifically but Pastor Adelaja was correct for most part of his analysis. I may not agree with him in the term he used to describe some notable ministers but the current trend in most of our Churches today is really quite disturbing.

It is true that most of the big Churches today are scammers and gullible souls fall for their scams.

What we have today on most of our Churches are native doctors on Pastors uniforms. The use of water, oil, handkerchiefs, bangles, coconut water and many other media are really fetish. They are unscriptural. The Bible says that the just shall live by faith. Faith in the word of God and the name of Jesus.

In addition, most Pastors feed their flocks with feel good messages only and spice them with prophecies. The preaching of the word of God must be balanced. There are times you have to rebuke and correct. But it is not so again with most of our Churches. They don't want to lose the crowd and popularity. But God will judge all these deception.

Pastor Adelaja however should tread with caution. Calling specific names may not be the best way to go except there are very clear evidences to claims made.

Don't pursue miracles. Go for the word of God. The truth you know is what will set you free.
