havent you read the thread where the lady wanted to have a big wedding so that she could look good in the eyes of her friends and expected to recoup the money she will spend on this extravagant marriage from the rich people who will attend and "spray her" LOL!!!!

or the guy willing to marry ANYONE(ugly or not) as long as she is a virgin. . . . . . .

marriage is as important to 9ja ladies as it is to 9ja men. people are ready to marry stranger just to "look happily married"

supposedly,it is embedded in the 9ja society that marriage is synonymous with happiness but unfortunately many people realize much too late that being married with a stranger is far from happiness!

even a great bf/gf can turn out to be the wrong husband/wife.

@Post

, because if the society will respect a woman at all, it is because of the band on your finger or the 'Mrs' before your name.
No where is safe, the church  beleives that you need councelling and deliverance because there must be a course in your family

Other mothers who have daughters with no other achievment other than that they were able to get themselves married will scorn your mother at family gatherings out of envy

If you are hardworking in the office and a goal getter they will say that is why you are not married (and they may be right because your chances of getting a man who will not feel intimidated  become smaller)

In summary, be ready to live a miserable life in Nigeria as a single lady, even if you think you are thick skinned and you do not care it will get to you one day and it may be too late

Yes o, a woman who is ready to marry the old man because she cannot get anything better, so what kind of love and care does the man get from that kind of a relationship? the woman may even end up cheating on him!
