I need advise on what to do to my car,The drive (D) indicator on the instrument cluster blinks at intervals,sometimes,the light stays on even when the gear lever is shifted to another position,For instance,the (D) blinks even when the gear shift is shifted to the reverse (R) or neutral (N) position.

Aside from the Light blinking, is your transmission shifting well?, you might need to check your transmission fluid level and also check for the color of the fluid.

Yeah the transmittion is shifting very well,i only notice that the (D) indicator blinks at intervals especially when im on high speed,it keeps blinking even if the gear shift is shifted to another point.

check your transmission oil. if there are specks, drain off and replace. Use a white tissue or white paper to check your transmission oil, it will make any black speck to be visible. you may also need to check the wires connected to the gear sensors. it is likely one may have a cut.

Check the wires on your gear sensors, thats a common problem with blinking lights.

That hapenz 3-4 days b4 ur gearbox packs up.Hd d same tin hapn 2 my academy som mnths bak, If u hav a mekanik dt knoz wat hez doin they myt b abl 2 work it othawys bad newz bruh ur g/box wil soon stop selectin then u'l nid a new 1 & i'm told eod g/box is abov 250k, Gudluck.
