Good evening. This thread is to showcase the roofing project contracted to us by a Nairalander in Port-harcourt, Rivers State. This is the first time we have travelled for a roofing job in the South south and it belongs to one of our Ogas here that i couldn't say No to. The building is 23m x 14m on one side and 23m by 20m on the other side (I'll confirm the dimensions later). This is the finished product. Cintact- 07038935532

Got to site and hit the ground running immediately (terrain a bit water-logged). Same day went to two plank markets to compare quality and prices and finally settled for one.

Tie-beams and kingpost follows.. Had to use 2x6x18 planks as tie-beam for areas of large span. Very expensive (1pcs is 1800) compared to the usual 2x4x18 that sells for 800 naira. 1 Like

So, after the woodwork, we proceeded to buy Stone coated tiles from Lagos. Took about a week to get to PH. We were able to save a chunk of money by buying from Lagos.
