I now ask,if he is giving God all the glory without any to the doctors,nurses and other health personnel that kept him alive,why didn't he stay at home and get healed!

No doubt that God gave the medics their talent/skills and made it possible that there was no instant death.

But science is science. Prognoses can be wrong sometimes but they are made according to the condition of the casualty/patient. In addition to skills and facilities (resources) available.

I think over-religiosity prevents us from taking responsibility for our own lives. Like everyone learning first aid that can buy time to save a life. Be it a heart attack case in the office or a road accident victim.
