Because one thing i have realised is that the house rents are actually ok but agent and agreement is the main problem

In 2006, I paid N240,000 for 2 years rent in a new-build block of 3 bedroom flats in Gowon estate, Ipaja. That's N120,000 per year for a very large 3 bedroom flat with a balcony in the front and the back. I don't think things have deteriorated in Nigeria so much that N50,000 cannot rent a single room in the whole of Lagos. If you go to areas like Ipaja, Egbeda, Akowonjo, Agege etc, you will definitely get a self-contained room to rent for N50,000 per year.
