But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Heb. 11:6

Faith is one essential thing that we as Christians should have in God. According to our text you see that anyone without faith cannot please God. Eph. 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:" 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Without faith, you cannot believe in the powerful work of the grace of God to uphold you in times of temptation, persecution, difficulty etc. and to make you live above sin.

For us to succeed in this Christian race, we must exercise full confidence and faith in the might power of God to keep and strengthen us all along the way. For example when traveling from Edo to Lagos you have point where you wait to refill you tank so as not to be disappointed in the journey though far apart. On the path way to heaven there is need for us to refill our tank i.e ask for more grace of God through the prayer of faith to carry you all through life; you can find this filling stations all along the way every inch you move you always find a grace station and the fee to obtain is faith.

Have you been falling and rising, just struggling to carry on? its as a result of lack of faith in the power in the blood of the lamb. I personally fell and rose several times that it got to a point that I thought it was impossible for me to be a real christian (born again) but when I exercised faith in God, and asked for his grace, he saved me not only saving and sanctified me that I am now living above all form of sin. (by His grace through faith).  Eph. 6:16-18 says 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

If you've not been saved and you want to; following these for 4SS to Salvation  i.e Four Simple Steps to Salvation:

1.   Admit that you are a sinner. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23; Romans 6: 22 “But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.”
23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

2.   Repent now “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;” Acts 3:19.  “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1John 1:9.

3.   Believe that God loves you and that Jesus died for you.  “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

4.   Invite Jesus into your life through the prayer of faith. “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:20
