Thank be unto God for his goodness as we await patiently the coming our lord-Jesus Christ.
Just recently i was thinking on the name of Jesus and how powerful the name is.
How he got the name and what is it in the name.
I began to think on the influence of one's name, one's life
Does a name have influence on one's destiny?
Does it matter what name you bear? surname/nickname etc?

[b][/b] Well, if you know what your name means or why you were named it. For example; my name means God is big, therefore should i be sharing this with others?

You see, it's what you know and think of your name, if you believe it you'll be the person your name means and do what relates to your name.

Well this is the general idea people have ignorantly but name is not just a name. A name is suposed to be a prophetic utterance or a word of faith or expression of faith. Words are not mere sound in the spirit realm. A name may be a word or a sentence.Africans understands this but they use it neatively. They give names based on past or pressent situation or experience. but When God give names in the bible he makes it a futuristic utterance or prophecy. Any time your name is called a blessing is being pronounced if it is a good name, but a curse is being pronounced if it a bad name. with time a man's life with take the form of the name especially if its a negative name.

I agree with you , every man must work ,the bible never condone laziness but your faith is not in the work but the blessing of God upon it. several things work together for a man to be successful, The fact still remains that your name has significance. read the bible exept you dont believe the bible. if you change your name for a better you will see a difference thats if you are a christian ofcourse.

they(names)attracts to you what it's represent.

No one offended me, Christians are generally ignorant and naive. . .I should know I was a Christian for 18 years, I'm not a Christian because I found the truth for myself - you probably never will . . .and this is a religion forum, we atheists are welcome here to express our anti religious views. . .anyway this argument is going no where, peace out.
