Oto-Awori LCDA is an extraction of the Ojo Local government Area of Lagos state located along Badagry expressway, the local council development Area (LCDA) was created by the visionary leadership of the former governor of Lagos state, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Jagaban of Borgu. An area blessed and known for its rich tradition play host to many important institutions like; Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, The medical post graduate college, the federal government college, the federal foreign affairs institute among many other renown citadels, the people of Awori who are the major dominant in the region has the culture of playing host to visitors without sentiment or discrimination, no wonder it is referred to as a mini - NIgeria where all tribes exists.

Presently, the LCDA is being chaired by the Executive Chairman, Prince Musibau Asafa, a worthy son of the Asafa Royal family of Ijanikin. Asafa is not new to the leadership and the politics of Oto- Awori, before his current position, he was the chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in the LCDA.

As a grassroots politician, he won convincingly at the local council poll with his running mate, Hon. Abiodun Azeez. His acceptability was never put to question,every politician above and below his hierarchy respects his prowess and flare in decision making.
Asafa unlike many other leaders have his doors always open to the constituents, one would wonder that a man acknowledged by many as a man of the people, who have a legal right to be protected by policemen walks without any on several occasions, this only validates his acceptability.

Today, Prince Musibau Asafa has reached new milestone of another biological year, encomiums pouring in, as early as 6:00AM today, Friday, 15th September 2017, a lot of people are already in his house, the chairs are already occupied and quitenssential leader was humbled to seat on a plastic chair while receiving prayers and blessings of both the young and the elderly.

Like every other loving member of the LCDA, I join thousands of people to wish this great man, a happy birthday as he governs the region with divine wisdom.
