The 11th Commandment. by Madukaele(m): 3:12pm On Feb 28, 2010
The 11th commandment is what i think is responsible for the problems and differences and also pain most Christians experience in life.

Example is about the idea or topic of self servicing, smooching, ladies wearing trousers, make ups to mention but a few. the 11th commandment is also responsible for the creation of different churches in this world.

The way or the relationship i have with God doesnt necessarily mean another will worship God perfectly the same way i do,the cause is 11th commandment.

God have different way of communicating with me and another way of communicating with another person, that is why Jesus said thou shall not judge your neighbor because you are not God. What is expected of man is to obey the 10 commandments perfectly well and 11th commandment now varies from one individual to another. what you may see as sin another may not see as sin. How God will judge you doesnt necessarily mean he will judge another person the same way. 11th commandment is between you and your God. You cant tell a deeper lifer to wear lipstick because as far as she is concerned is a sin. but tell a redeemed christian she sees nothing wrong in it. I see nothing wrong with smooching but another may see something wrong. Why i see nothing wrong in it is that we didnt creat the sexual feelings in us so why should we prevent our self from it, and the bible didnt talk or say is a sin , so that means the bible left it to be part if 11th commandment as far as i can control my feelings and mind.
i have being in many relationships that collapsed because of sex issuses it left me in pain, when i read the bible to knw if smooching is wrong i found no answer which means it all depends on an individual.

i will like to know your views in this topic, note not necessarily smooching or sex related. thank as you contribute

Now i really think ure confused. Your relationship ended because of intimacy and you now go about smooching maybe all the sisters you know. Haba! That relationship was not meant to last so stop crying because you were saved from death. Intimacy (fornication) is death- thats what i call it!

You sound like an earnest fellow: keen to do what is right, and torn by reality and pangs of conscience. This state is fertile ground for some confusion. First, you said to obey the 10 commandments perfectly. This is not only impossible, but it'll be foolish to do. We need only take a few of the commandments to see how short-sighted they are. And, oh, no, I'm not saying all of the commandments are useless - many of them are intuitive, applied within reason ; but as absolute commands, as presented, they're of little value.

You're almost correct in writing " what you may see as sin another may not see as sin"; we could see where that's going, but you've got to define "sin". This statement - alone, by itself - negates your advice to "perfectly obey the 10 commandments"; do you see that?

You wrote "I see mothing wrong with smooching". Well, how could anyone reasonable disagree with that?? Only a foolish person would, because the statement doesn't make much sense. Here's why: under what conditions? Could voluntary smooching between a man and his spouse, say be wrong? Or, more specifically, could smoochin between a woman and her husband be wrong? So you see that your statement is incomplete. It beckons the reader to make an assumption; you should state things clearly. But on balance, you're probably saying "it depends". Well, we'll need to hear it from you.

i have being in many relationships that collapsed because of intimacy issuses  it left me in pain, when i read the bible to knw if smooching is wrong i found no answer which means it all depends on an individual.

Aah! Personal experience, eh? See, how could you expect a different result when you kept doing the same things the same way with the smae kinda people? What've you been doing? Exactly what've you been doing? What do you mean "smooching"?? If you're digging your hands under her top on the first date, she may not like it; just a word.

So, dear fellow poster, these troubles may make you propound weird theories, but don't worry, they happen all the time. Relax some, be clear with your questions, and perhas you'll find the help you need. But make no mistake: you can't do just as you please without consideration for other humans; you don't have to be a Christian, or even be religious/'spiritual' to figure that.

i said smooch in a relationship not marriage, pls giv your self time and try not to fight an answer immediately, to keep a good relationship that will hopfully lead to marriage smooching is no sin for me, i didnt say smooch anyone u see or hv intimacy, if smooching is intimacy y hv a diff name for it. 10 commandment is for our good not God.
how will u feel if u see another guy digging ur lady u love so much, pain right? dats y we shouldnt fornicate, for our good.

i said smooch in a relationship not marriage,

A marriage is a relationship.

Now, my friend, you need to sort yourself out some, really. If you've got a high libido - well above average - it may be a big problem to obey what your pastor says about fornication; tough. That doesn't mean fornication is best for you though. But, be clear about this: no one would take you seriously if you claim to be a Christian and you go around smooching the sisters; especially now that you've had a few of them. If you're h-orny, you're h.orny, that doesn't mean you want to be serious in a committed reøationship.

Re: The 11th Commandment. by email1(m): 4:49pm On Mar 02, 2010
Madukaeleeee Eh! Ele. Preaching, preaching. I see you dont even understand yourself. Smooch and you'll see that you might lose her again. Not a prayer though. Understand that a Christian sister may not know you want to use it to keep the relationship. Think through my fellow NLer.
