Hi all,

My son will turn 1 soon. Im not in a position to throw a party for him so instead i want to use the money to invest for him. Im considering an education savings account or starting a share account in his favour with a stock broker. What's the best option please. Other suggestions are welcome

Many thanks

If you are in the US the most straight forward thing will be 529s or UGMAs. Both my boys have UGMA's and I buy stocks in them. When they attain the age of majority the account becomes their responsibility.
