A Nigerian Biochemist, Onuoha Dave on Saturday tweeted that he was itching to do something he has never done before, to interrupt the priest's sermon during mass.

Fast forward to Sunday, he went to church and did the exact thing he wanted. According to him, he asked some questions about God and after the whole drama, he was suspended as an executive of a group in church. Read his story....

Actually, did he expect the church to clap for him after the rants?

He asked a common sense question but forgot that you have to leave your brain at the door before you come into church.

The priest had no answers for him and the church management knows he is bad for business hence his suspension. The priest was probably thinking "how dare this young man try to disturb my means of livelihood? I will not take it!".

Soon the young man will realise religion is just a tradition. Lots of traditions don't make sense but people are afraid to say so.

Most people that don't understand the dumbness of religion are not to be blamed. They were initiated into the religions from birth and have been brainwashed ever since. Some may open their eyes and some may not.

People that can't reason properly will feel asking such questions about the Christian God makes you a Muslim or Atheist or Pagan. Not to worry though. Must people have low IQs so you shouldn't expect much from them.

But, my question still applies: On what grounds or authority are you making this seemingly 'absolute' statement?

In other words, you must then be "omni-science" or all-knowing to know this assertion.

In a way, you are equating yourself with God. That's pride and arrogance.

You can say you don't understand how both can exist in your 'limited' reasoning and understanding. But, it is equally absurd (as your statement) to make absolute assertions when you are arguing against an absolute.

Sovereign God, however, in creating man and the universe, I believe the bible said somewhere that God 'mourns' or considered 'repenting' from creating humans. Genesis 6: 5-7; 1Sam 15:11; Issiah 63:10. I must admit, the original root word "repent" in Greek may not have literal translation to English language. So....interpret carefully.

Man may be God's weakness, but, I will not call it "blunder".

We may be God's "mistake" (for lack of better word), but humans were conceived out of God's love.

That love--still very much available and apparent (albeit clouded by our messy world) today.

actually a Catholic priest will tolerate a heavy dose of rantings and argument than most clergymen also more importantly he has 4 years of philosophy under his belt, he has certainly come across these questions before and he certainly knows a response for them...though each man differ in his ability to explain what he knows.

and according to Catholic teaching faith and reason must go hand in hand...a Catholic such as myself will certainly disagree with the idea that been a Christian excludes reason.
