Honesty I used to be the best policy Honestly speaking Now I play the worst politics Honestly speaking I walked around town Without utmost care I walked around town I owned the atmosphere Past glories you may say Vainglories if you may Nonetheless I ruled and ruled Even in the Law which is Ruled Bid me farewell for I am weary I gave my best while I lasted Alas even with eyes so teary Give my best to the guv'ment pasted 4 Likes 2 Shares |
