Your reasoning sha, no military training in the world is created to be easy for the personnels or the recruits, if you're complaining about the regular military training I wonder what you would say about the Nigerian special forces such as SBS,SSG and so on.

I remembered my friend's younger brother that joined the US Marine, like 3 years ago....Oh boy, boot camp was for 6 months...The guy wey be like crayfish before come be like gaint after rigorous training.....

The lessons learnt from such misadventure could be said to be the reason why Army had to move in fast to curb and check the excesses of IPOB before it becomes something else.

You will be saying that IPOB will never turn violent or even turn against us the Igbo people they are supposedly fighting to 'liberate' but then again, the same could be said about ISIS.

ISIS started from fighting Bashar al-Assad in Syria as freedom fighters.

Then they became a very powerful government of its own by taking territories and control of oil facilities in those territories, started to forcefully collect taxes from the people, forced everyone in their territory to abide by a particular rigid religious code... and all these things happened while the rest of the world watched!

So, my dear, as you can see, it doesn't take much for 'freedom fighters' to transform into a very powerful and deadly 'terrorist organization'.

your opinion though, but google and c some navy seal videos so u understand Wat military training is all about. No country can afford to have a weak soldier. Some nations even torture their soldiers just to c how much u can take when or if captured by enemy forces.

He expect a soldier a shiver while in the rain, complain fever in the sun and complain uncomfortable while on the battlefield, scream when he steps on a thorn, cry when slapped and think only of dying without trying to escape when captured. Tell him to search google and see how Russians makes SPETSNAZ out of civilians who join the army and come tell us what he sees.

Most of these things will be experienced by anybody who serves in Kaduna. If you were in Gonin Gora Camp and didn't pass through most of these, you be proper OTONDO! Kaduna Camp dey do corpers like sey dem wan join military. Oh, gone are those days!

Yea man, i love it too. Hard training makes someone mean and wicked but I think its time to train harder and educate more. Meaness/Wickedness without education is evil. American soldiers go through hard training and still behave.

The Nigerian military (be it in air force, navy or army) is a place to be! Well, you are being patriotic and found wanting too.

Though, most times, they are basic requirements depending on the school, for instance, some army schools disallow those with tattoos, flat foot, eye/ear problems,ex-convicts etc. You also, MUST be a Nigerian. Here are twelve few things you must experience and may also avoid the hell part, while going for the Nigerian military aptitude tests:
.
1. You must run there! How athletic are you? This is a culture you must face! So, if you are planning to wear skirts, dear, start selecting a nice pair of trousers. You will run for about three-four hours approximately.
.
2. Double Double! This slang is all way energetic meaning you should hasten up while running. In fact, you must always double in anything you do amid the premises.
.
3. Being like a soldier ant! You must be organized! If you dare bring your 'last-born character' there, dem go humble you. So, start wearing off the grin!
.
4. You will be searched! Who knows, you might be a terrorist ... So, you must be searched. But, I'm sure, a bullet is always watching everyone from afar.

5. Sit down. No one's going to get you a chair, you must sit on the floor (I mean, you go sit for ground), come rain, come sun, and you dare not take an umbrella or koboko go fall on you.

6. Slapping is a religion there. Be warned, put on your most obedient character.

7. Epilepsy in dust-bin. Many get seizures here. That's a passport to bid you bye.

8. Expo can be peppery. When caught, dear, I just will say: 'I pity you.'

9. Come with all they require. No excuses, just be there with all they asked or don't come at all.

10. If you are supposed to be in Centre A, don't come to Centre B. Yes, go where you are told to go, everything is strict.
