Please I just started work in a federal ministry since June but I've not been paid till now....though its not just me, I know of about other people in different ministries that have not been paid too...

How soon do they start paying the new intakes??
My boss told me they had instruct them to pay all outstanding latest by 10th October but I'm really worried

Jesus Christ....ain't easy in a place like Lagos, to and fro from the mainland to island everyday, plus everyone believes I'm working now so no funds.

I pray and sincerely hope I'm settled very fast, just the capturing

I even take 1 month senior you. Mine took 27 months

Eyimofe2017 if you have your way, start working in another place to keep yourself during the long wait. It used to be around 4 months some years back but things are worse now.

It doesn't always take that long, it's supposed to be just a quarter which is just three months. Hang in there you'll soon be sorted out. Cheers.

Don't disturb yourself too much, you would be paid all your outstanding's.

When you first get employed into both federal and state, you would work for three month without pay, then at the end of the fourth month you would be paid your 4month salary.

Just chill they are helping you keep your money.

Wow.. I got my appointment letter via fcsc on dec 2014. Got posted to ministry via head of service in 2016.. Have started working since april 2017 not captured and no salary yet.. How long does it take from when you are captured to the first salary?..... And am planning to relocate to Abuja. If u are living in Abuja as a civil servant how do u cope?.
