Possibility of a nuclear war has never been this close

Trump and Jong are made up of the same specie. Hot headed, aggressive, violent and no respect to diplomacy.

Though one represents USA and the other North Korea, but they seems to be born by the same mother. Want to be in control.

From the look of things with these two '' Rocket Man and the Giant Goliat'', they are set for show down. If US insist on North Korea dismantling its nuclear weapon, Jong will no doubt resist that by all means possible. I mean all means possible, that is the determination in Jong's personal response to Trump UN speech.

In my view, it is a settled case that the world will have to live with a nuclear North Korea. I doubt if there is any amount of diplomatic efforts that will persuade Jong to discard the weapon against humanity, especially when they are witness to what happened in Libya and Iraq.

Some analyst have argued that, the attitude of Trump, especially at a global platform like the UN security council, where he threatened to destroy North Korea provide more justification for North Korea to keep its nuclear weapon than diplomacy.

Trump is unpredictable and the only thing that can restrain him is the consciousness that his counterpart may also have mutual destructive power, which they are more than willing to use if necessary. Anything outside that may prove fatal for Jong, hence the determination to hold unto their nuclear weapon, which they had invested billions of dollars over the years.

But 8 countries already have nuclear war heads. U.S have it. Russia also do. The same with China, UK and France. Even India and Pakistan also have nuclear weapons. Why can't others have it too? And many suspects that Israel also do, though it wasn't announced.

The question is, why should these countries have such deadly weapon if they don't want others to have it? If the weapon is so deadly, why do these other countries keep it?

In my view, it is only reasonable that all those countries with such weapon destroy it. That is when they can have the moral justification to stop others from having it.

As it stands today, we are unsure what may happen next, but the tension is really rising and the possibility of a nuclear war has never been this close.

Let's hope that reason and diplomacy will prevail to avert the catastrophe that is about unfold.

North Korea is trying to play nuisance to the rest of the world.
You'll do well to remember Russia used to be like that. Trump is blaming China for not putting enough pressure on North Korea, Russia is blaming the US for Jeopardizing agreements......whatever the case may be, I hope they are well aware that the security and peace of the third world countries depends heavily on the outcome of these negotiations - as Mugabe made them understand at the UN assembly.

If 8 countries or 9 already have Nuclear weapon, why should US attempt to stop others without destroying its own?

Look at Trump's mouth in that picture - just like the anus of my local chicken (Adiye Ibile) in Ijebu. grin

When Amerika talks about a diplomatic solution, what she is referring to is a unilateral de-nuclearization by North Korea.

There is absolutely no indication from Amerika that she wants to reciprocate a responsibility to stand down her unnecessary & overwhelming military power aimed at the Korean Peninsula. Thus, what Washington means by “Peace” is a one-sided surrender by North Korean - which is absolutely impossible.

Amerika's treachery & bellicosity knows no bound - and will soon plunge her into the abyss.

Did you know that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) signed in July 2015 between Amerika, Russia, China, Europe and Iran has been continually undermined by the Trump administration?

Iran adhered to stringent limits on her nuclear energy program in return for sanctions relief.

Even the UN nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), filed 7 reports since January 2016 confirming Iran’s full compliance with the JCPOA.

But..... All of a sudden, Amerika is threatening to scrap her participation in the internationally binding nuclear accord with Iran. grin

Amerika's excuse is that Iran’s “technical compliance” with the JCPOA is not enough. cheesy

The Amerikan bastards - through the ugly mouth of Rex Tillerson (Secretary of State) says Iran is not living up to the “spirit of the deal” - simply because Iran is supporting Syria in the war to defeat the Amerikan-backed terrorists. Can you imagine? grin

Now, tell me - Are these the same bastards you want Kim Jong-un to lay down his nuclear arsenals for?
Clearly, Amerika can never be trusted. If she cannot comply with obligations under an international legal agreement, which has been ratified by the UN Security Council, then any residual trust in the Amerikan diplomacy is completely shattered.

North Korea has no doubt taken note of the Amerikan betrayal over Iran - and she has already pointed to the grim fate of Iraq & Libya which were invaded and destroyed by the cockroaches in Amerika when it became evident neither possessed chemical nor nuclear weapons.

For these reasons, the “council of the irunmoles” will always stand with North Korea! grin
