- APC has declined comments on the leaked latter written to President Muahammadu Buhari by the minister of state for petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu - Kachikwu had in his letter to the president accused NNPC GMD, Maikanti Baru of corruption and insubordination - The ruling party, however, said that it would not comment on the allegation The All Progressives Congress (APC) has declined to comment on the allegation of corruption levelled against the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr. Maikanti Baru by the minister of state for petroleum resources, Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu. New Telegraph reports that the APC, which had always accused the opposition political party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of being corrupt, on Thursday, October 5, said it would not comment on the corruption allegation against the appointee of its government.
