The observable universe has about 300 sextillion (300 followed by 21 zeroes) stars and about 200 billion galaxies. It is, therefore, estimated that there are about a septillion (1 followed by 24 zeroes) planets. As a comparison, the total number of sand grains on earth is 1 followed by 19 zeroes.

If some day we can prove the concept of multiverse as per the string theory, we can then say that there are universes beyond our universe. We can then multiply the above numbers several times over.

The earth has existed for nearly 4.5 billion years. If we consider this as a 24 hour clock, humans appeared in the last one second.
No matter how great the numbers of planets in the universe, the probability, therefore, that there is intelligent life existing somewhere else at the same time is not very high.


So, my very big doubt is - Are we alone? Whether it is so or whether it is not so, this very big doubt brings me to my biggest doubt - Who are we?

Ofcourse, there is an aspect that continues to 'exist' after the end of physical existence called Life. Life is a phase in the existence of Spirit. But I think the OP was concerned about his physicality, his person as he/she is now. The aspect of us which is represented by the ego will no more exist. It is just a robotic animal body used and discarded by Spirit.

Sure, but there is always a step further. One can destroy the ego right here on Earth and let the Soul personality take charge of the physical body, at that juncture, you move and act like an Avatar and may be you will be called magician, cos you will physically exist here, but your consciousness is an Soul. You become a walking miracle worker or magician as they call it or and can do whatever you like and move through dimensions just by visualization, in essence, you exist in the land of the living and that of the dead, in this incarnation.

How cool is that ? Scientists are recruiting people who do that, cos it is the next frontier. That is where the latest inventions come from. Peep into other dimensions and steal their inventions and trade secret so we can evolve this 3D even better so we can transition smoothly to the next dimension. It means your knowledge of what God is, is flawed and you are not alone in this confusion. And most importantly, your knowledge of what a human is, is not clear. Man has been provided with everything that he requires to exist, but since man has a mind of his own or free will, man has decided to mind control the others and giving them erroneous definition of God. When you know what God is and Man's role in the Universe, you will neither look for God to keep you alive nor give you your daily bread. The higher beings have better fishes to fry so man must abandon the victim mentality and fixed his life.

Sorry for your loss, but depend less on God, we have all it takes to know how to give life just like we know how to take life. If you want to communicate with your loved one that passed on, just ask yourself how to do it. You will receive intuition on how to proceed.
