Although Tecno M6 is a relatively old phone but it is still a nice phone with some cool features, good display, effective ram management etc, however the phone has the worst battery life in a smartphone I have ever used. The best performance I could get is barely 2 hours on heavy usage, is this normal or I have a defective phone?

I doubt thats normal. Go check your tecno battery maybe it's damaged or something else is the issue.
