The final year is the worst year at the university because it's less social activities and more hard work, especially, project-writing. One of my project topics was, "Christianity: the basis for societal development"
Upon sighting my topic, my supervisor told me to get a new topic. I asked why. He said, Christianity or religion does not have any impact on societal development. Well, I didn't expect him to supervise or encourage me on such topic as most Philosophy lecturers are not Christians or believe in the existence of God. But today that notion has been subverted and I'm glad I didn't write on the topic. Why?

2 days ago i read online where Cardinal Okogie slammed the General Overseer of Redeemed, Pastor Adeboye, over his decision to have as many branches of the church as possible.
My point is, with all the branches they have at every 2kilometres are not enough? You would see 3-6 churches in one street. Are they going to different heaven?. Yet, there is poverty in the land; roads are bad, no light,shelter, electricity and food.(Matthew 25:35-40)

These pastors collect your tithes and offering and they don't give back to the society. The fly while you craw.(Deuteronomy 14:23 )

Finland has the most stable economy in world today. There are less than 20 churches in Finland.

Switzerland has the second most stable economy in the world. Switzerland has less than 30 churches.

Denmark is the third most stable economy in the world. Denmark has about 23 churches in it.

These are countries considered largely atheist in nature, yet so blessed.

In Nigeria we have more pastors than doctors and teachers combined. More churches than industries and God. Nowadays, everyone is born again. All are covered in the blood of Jesus. All are filled with the Holy Spirit.

Yet none of these claims reflects in the expected moral elevation of society. We are still one of the greediest, corrupt, deceitful, hypocritical and hateful set of people. And someone wants to increase the numbers of churches?

Wake up people, these pastors are not winning souls for God, but to increase their bank Alerts.
Our people need to draw the line between religion and stupidity.

I'm with you. It has created more problems than solutions.

thousands of well developed schools/organization are build by the church is this not a development, not to talk of employment, charity, and peace that christianity brought,
if it is not because the church keep encouraging the christian youth not to take revenge and for Her prayers! i tell the truth Nigeria would have gone long ago.
