I'm a big fan of accountability, since puberty, I've never for once condone misappropriation be it

by my own doing to my to
my pocket
Other's pocket

This is the singular reason I don't deliver my tithes to church, rather, I look for examination fees (WAEC, NECO, School fees e.t.c) to pay for amongst brilliant but indigent students in my community.

It's not that I don't trust my pastor or something around that, that's what gives my inner man peace and happiness.

To the matter:
There is this beggar I know of and I do give alms to him when I have these 'crumb' currencies... I hate to have them mix with 1000 and 500 Naira notes because I usually confuse the crumbs with the bigboy notes hence overpaying people for services.

I was at one of these mamaputs gulping down breakfast when I saw this beggar confidently walk in to a betting kiosk beside Iya sukura delicacies. He 'napped' and 'permed' some numbers then left.

At first, I was like WTF! I won't gift this beggar again!

but later a part of me was like 'what's ur wahala, when u give him money, whatever he uses it for is none of ya biz'

To the question, should I bother myself what a beggar uses d alms I gift for?
