Nigeria can only move forward inclusively but first and furmost mutual respect as we all know respect is reseprocal likewise insult. it is only a low life or coward that will keep quite when slaped unwarrantedly. Nigeria as nation has stayed backward for too long and we all know that we as Nigerians the onse holding our selves back unneccessarily due to our immaturity to respect each other atleast as modern humans. India is 1 billion in population and are the most diversified culturally, religiously and ethnically but I personally saw india and could hardly differenciate the muslems frum hindus who are very opposit in religious angle. The honest truth is that only the law can force displine and I am disapointed to state that Nigerians as a people are the most indisiplined people in africa especially in morals. |

gists: Their cry of marginalisation has always been about what they perceive as lopsided appointments. In reality it is a blackmail ploy by their political class to stylishly angle for appointments for themselves and which their gullible youths as an avenue to vent their innate hatred against Buhari for winning the election along with his tribe, region and religion of Islam. Unfortunately, whenever such claims are closely examined they would usually emerge as baseless, as currently shown by Buhari concerning political appointments or in the civil service as proven by research (in 2013) where Anambra came up tops https://www.nairaland.com/1366414/anambra-biggest-beneficiary-federal-appointments and more recently (in 2015) where Imo took over https://www.nairaland.com/2794832/numbers-federal-workers-state-origin Sadly, as you rightly pointed out, even when given the the opportunity; their sons and daughter never do anything for their region, as we saw under GEJ when they had the Iwealas, Oduahs, Ihjerikas, Ikimi, Soludos etc, all occupying very important positions of influence ranging from finance to aviation, defence right to the heart of the government - but alas, all came to naught, neither did GEJ their adopted son delivered; because the truth of matter is that political appointees do not necessarily attract development to their regions of origin; which goes to show that the current phantom Igbo marginalisation and agitations are mere smokescreen to malign Buhari and his government. 1 Like |
