to me there is nothing beautiful about hybrid dogs they are like lost people without identity if yu love mix breeds so much keep it to your self and enjoy it all alone normally yu are not even supposed to breed with that dog except maybe yu are trying to develop a new breed and in that case yu don't sell to the public not trying to cross a hybrid dog with a GSD and hope to get a full GSD pup since yu love hybrids a lot keep them to your self and enjoy them all by yourself. #peace

Bro, anytime I see a product of 2 different breeds, I de always pity for them. .. To me, I see them as unfortunately helpless dogs.... They don't have a defined name/identity, they are poorly priced, unpredictable behavior, among others...thanks to the careless breeders

Now, the poor girl cant identify the family she belong - isn't this bad enough to make your Lil furry friend unhappy,? ur dog fit just sit down one day start de wonder where she from originate .....other dogs fit de laugh her say she be outcast ... And that is demoralizing you know .....

Lolz.... Truth be told... About 75% of dogs in Nigeria (let not talk about other countries) are mixed... Trace their lineage, u would see that 80% of most GSDz have a Rottweiler blood line, but depending on the breed u use in crossing the hybrid would determine the dominatine gene, she's still a new generation, and researches explained there is still a way to produce one of the genes she has in a 80:20/90:10 ratio, I can get a full Rott in her 4th generation or even 3rd/2nd generation depending on how dominating the rott's gene I use in crossing her is, that was actually what I wanted, now, she has a 78:22 GSD features... so, with a dominating GSD gene I use to cross her, I can reverse her genotype to that of GSD in a ratio of 90:10 ....When she gives birth, I'll post her pictures here &that of her puppies (she's a beautiful creature mehn with I v. Fine&neat skin type) and the Dog u condemning as a useless crap in breeding /so(according to your summary) is already a dog some fams are wishing to grab a pup.. .m being disturbed to cross now gaaan... Just want an 79% gene maturity b4 crossing.

Your dog is relatively OK but your mindset isn't.
To be very polite, the dog has potential of springing slightly pure puppies depending on the genes of the sire(like you said)

But that really could also lead to misplaced sideeffects. you wouldn't want uglier puppies ba?

I get where u coming from, for the breed's blood line not to be misplaced, I'm not going too far, I'd just cross her with a GSD& the probability her pups would have a GSD gene is higher.. .so now we know her parents, it's easy to reconnect back& save her from being lost in the breed's world.

OP it is not advisable to go into breeding with mutts yu will regret it at the end if the dog is for keep fine but for breeding it's a NO. instead of all these yur 4th generation bla bla bla why not just get a decent dog and start from first generation.......... in the long run yu are not going to like the path yu are following because even the market value of the pups will be very low and a very one kind of pup may come out too end of story. #peace

Bro this is Doublekay kennel, i hail ppl up there,Kovu,Rumenase,Bobbysaxy,doxarise and so on.
In a bit to embark on breeding,i got a caucasian on this platform and even to sell it out was war because it happened to be a mutt.I dnt want to start with a mutt so even if i cant get pedigree i made up my mind to get purebred dogs and i got a female rot pup,and a male rot pup from Bobbysaxy.
Wen they grow i can boldly show my dogs,advertise their pups,tell ppl abt my kennel.
So Bro u hv a high enthusiasm but u need to direct it to a dog that will really fulfil ur breeding plans, plz dnt breed this dog

If truly you own a kennel, then you have failed as a breeder.... Cos one of the qualities of a breeder, is raising dogs to conform with the standards of a particular dog breed. There is no way a GSD and Rottweiler hybrid will conform to raising a good GSD or Rottweiler according to their standards... There will always be one comma or the other. The temperament of the output will also be another topic of debate, cos it won't be predictable.
I sincerely admire your strong will, but I beg you to channel it towards something productive, and what will make you happy at the end of the day.
Whenever someone was saying the identity of the dog will be misplaced, it not connoting you identifying the breed of sire and dam, it is about the dog itself. A stranger should be able to confidently classify your dog to a breed, without issues.
Hybrids like this are meant to be pets, and should have been neutered from puppyhood, to reduce future generation of mutts . It is not too late to start afresh... Strive to be a breeder, not a Miller.... One love
