The Edo State Commissioner for Education, Dr
Ngozi Osarenren has alleged series of treats
to her life by some unscrupulous persons in
the state.
This came on the heels of the sudden
appearance of an owl inside her office in
broad daylight and the killing of another
strange black bird in her office.
Osarenren told National Life in an exclusive
interview that her present office has
exposed her to several dangerous situations,
which God in His infinite mercies has
delivered her from.
She said she has received many life
threatening text messages from people who
accuse her of sabotaging their sources of
livelihood in the educational sector.
Recalling that she had been spiritually
attacked and traumatized, she disclosed that
“ I was give up till January 11th 2010 to see
the light of day but it is only the grace and
power of God that has sustained me this far
to overcome their evil plans against my
person and family ”.
An exasperated Osarenren declared: “I have
come to Edo State to serve the people. I am
not here to disturb anybody that is doing his
or her job well, but I have a mission to
sanitize and restore the glory of education in
the state and work to leave my foot-prints in
the sands of time that once upon a time, a
woman trod this path of honour and made
Edo State number one, educationally.
“ This can never be compromised by either
threats or intimidation by all those who have
been affected or offended by these actions. I
will only die when God says it is time and not
when man says. If it pleases God to allow any
harm my way, let His will be done, but if I am
doing the right thing before God and man,
God will never allow any of their evil plans to
touch me. ”
She emphasized that series of demonic
attacks have been directed towards her,
including the killing of a black bird inside her
office and the sudden appearance of an evil
bird (owl) in her office as early 8.30am when
she was busy working.
National Life investigations revealed that the
commissioner has not been finding things
easy with some proprietors of private
schools, who see her radical changes in the
Education sector as a clog in the wheel of
their progress.
Osarenren had clamp down on some
substandard and illegal schools in Edo.
She released a list of such schools and they
were black-listed by WAEC/NECO before
embarking on the dismantling of the
infamous “Edo miracle Exam centres” which
was a striving business venture for Edo
Private School Owners.
National Life is reliably informed that several
moves were made to bribe the commissioner
by both the private school owners and the
school principals but to no avail.
She was thereafter confronted and told to
her face that her predecessors who ‘played
ball’ got N5million every Friday as ‘settlement’
from corrupt principals and private schools
owners.
National Life is in possession of some of the
life threatening text messages sent to the
commissioner by the faceless persons.

Text message 1: Watch out, if you don’t
withdraw your policy within on week from
today, the ground must lick your blood. Come
to the ministry now our men are on ground
to track you down.
Text message 2: If you like, don ’t take my
calls. We have committed you to be used as
meat for night workers. We shall begin to
visit you at night. Just one week Ngozi. We
are watching you for one week.
Text messages 3: After 11th Jan, tell
Nosayaba and your people to start planning
for your interment. Know this now, you are a
moving corpse already. Gather all security,
we shall track you.
Text message 4: Ngozi, if you are to be sure
that you are in danger, spend at least 3hrs in
your office tomorrow, after that we shall
send you a recorded tape of your activities
in the office. We must track you down.
Text message 5: We handled Justice Roland
Amoize when he f, k.d up during Prof.
Osunbor. We shall focus grenade on you roof
in Lagos and blow it off. Then you will know
what you are into.
Text message 6: Ngozi, you are using your
neck to test the depth of an ocean.
Meanwhile, some prominent personalities in
Edo have vowed to resist any attack either
spiritual or physical on Osarenren.
It was also discovered that the Honorable
Commissioner for Education has been under
surveillance by those who want her dead,
using all known and unknown means to trail
her daily movement.
Sometime ago, the commissioner was said to
have collapsed at a public function, which
some persons attributed to be a spiritual
attack.
A source in the ministry, who pleaded
anonymity told National Life that “Madam is
constantly under pressure here. Sometimes I
pity her due to the kind of attacks I on her.
They want the woman to be frustrated and
afraid, but I thank God for the spirit He has
given her. She is a fighter indeed and I pray
God to continue to guide her ”.
