TEXT:"And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his works which he had made."-Genesis 2:2

The seventh day is the last day of the week, and it is the day of rest called the sabbath day. Besides the sabbath day, the children of Israel were expected to keep other days of rest, especially on their feast days, Leviticus 23. These are holy days unto the Lord. And this is how the idea of public holidays came about.

However, there is God's seventh day, which is the day God rested from his work, Genesis 2:2; Exodus 20:11. And there is man's seventh day, given to man by God, which is the day man is expected to rest from his work, Exodus 20:8-10.

Referring to my first message titled, "The Beginning". In the Mankind of beginning, the week begins on Sunday and ends on Saturday, the seventh day, which is the last day of the week, and also called the sabbath day. To keep the day holy means that, work should be done for six days, but on the seventh day, man should rests from his work.

Moreover, other works can be done on that day, e.g domestic works like cooking, washing, etc. But, the economic work that will generate income is avoided. Because that day is God's. And if any man do any economic work on that day, it should be done for free. No money should be collected.

Furthermore, the Godkind of Seventh Day is not the literal 24-hour day of man, but a thousand years, 2 Peter 3:8. From the First Day of creation unto this day, there have been Two Sabbath Days: the First Seventh Day was in Genesis 2:2, when God rested from all his work of creation in Genesis 1. The Second Seventh Day is in Revelation 20:7, during the millennium reign of Jesus Christ.

We are currently in the Third Week, and in the Third Day of the Week. One day with the Lord is as a thousand years, 2 Peter 3:8. We are in the year 2017. Two Days which are two thousand years are already spent, and we are seventeen years into the Third Day.

Subsequently, at the completion of the Third Day in the year 3000, we shall proceed to complete the Fourth Day in the year 4000. From there we will move to the end of the Fifth Day in the year 5000. From there to the end of the Sixth Day in the year 6000. And we shall enter into the Seventh Day from the year 6001, which is the last Day of the Week, and the Third Sabbath Day of the Lord. And after the Sabbath Day in the year 7000, we shall move on to a new Week, which will be the Fourth Week, and the counting continues...
