As a batch A1, all the way from lagos to niger state have been a hard time to me. am tired of the place where i was posted to but 'na me wan serve my country' i have to bow to it. But my reason behind this post is to prepare your mind in the area of power and network. Dear corper despite serving in power nation state, theres still a desheartning power supply in some area in niger state some places dont even have access to it. Charging of phone is like writing jamb and this phöne is the only way to company you when you find yourself in rural area. my android phone purchased from @initialzer is dead only power can wake em. This issue also applies to network where 3/4g is like 1g. Infact i have to place the phone far away from our lodge to a vlo lodge to to get mtn 2.5g and most time its revert back to 1.5g. To cut the story short, look arround for a backup to your android or any smart phone you're using. Thank GOD that i still have my nokia 1100 i wont have grace NL talk about calling my family and loved once. Ensure to get a phone like nokia double or single sim that have whatsapp and atleas web browser with minimum of extra 3 batteries and all the functional sim in nigeria because it might turn out that only mtel or 9mobile or the likes will be the only network in that area. This is to save yourself from lonliness and HBP and to save your loved ones from the same. Pls take my advice from a corper serving in gbako lga. Infact i only go to bida to buy something reasonable like sarchet tomatoes.
