Greetings,

I know it comes to a surprise to many West Africans especially Nigerians who are in the cultural habits of killing snakes and my Sango even eating them. But it is according to our ancient royal law and cultural decree that we do not eat reptiles. But more importantly, we do not kill snakes because they represent the cosmos. In Benin at the Python Temple snakes are revered, Mawu and Lisa, the two twin powers, that represent Rahu and Ketu, the South and North Nodes of Astrological hidden X planets which cause solar and lunar eclipses. So much history has been lost due to the burning down of the University of Timbutu in Mali by the pedophile sodomite Moors/Berbers of Morocco on a crusade of Islam. So many of the elders who preserved the Yoruba cosmology were ostracized and ignored by their descendants to where the cosmology of Ifa has been lost. Those villages that kill snakes see a rise in hostile snakes and those villages that live in harmony with the snakes never experience vicious snake attacks. Snakes are like worms they share a telepathic communication with each other, so when you miss killing a snake, that snake shares that negative attack with other snakes in the area that humans are cruel and evil. Also the Cosmos responds and sees this as an attack upon the cosmos itself because snakes represent the symbol of the cosmos. Burning tires and laying lime around territory can ward snakes not to enter and believe they will not enter such a place. Also over time the snakes will cease their hostility towards man when man ceases his hostility towards them. You will suffer lost of prosperity if you kill a snake or eat them. Killing and eating snakes goes against the most Ancient of the African high civilizations.

Remember we are the Naga people. We are the Niggers, Niger, NGR, the Kings and Queens of the Earth. The name Nigeria, means Queen Mother. I am warning you to stop killing snakes and stop eating them! Train snake handlers like they do in India because they understand this curse. When you live in the Equator and tropical areas like Indian the land will produce alot of snakes, this is normal but what isn't normal is another species killing another and it isn't for food or survival but hatred. Snakes are precious creatures to the Universe.

PARANORMAL BLOODLINES
It is believed that only special royal bloodlines possessed paranormal powers like the Cwezi. King Rwabugiri IV the great, an ancient Rwandan king was believed to have possessed paranormal powers along with one of his wives. Muhumuza. Rwabugiri was the first king to meet with the Europeans, he resisted slave trade and saved the remains of the Rwandan borders during the scramble and partition for Africa.

Also these bloodlines begun breaking the customary laws practicing forbidden customs such as eating prohibited meats, foods, certain fish, reptiles, marrying into hostile or forbidden bloodlines, murdering, breaking oath, abominations, inciting and obtaining curses, abandoning own customs, sodomy, laying down with animals etc. Ability to possess these mystical powers survived among some African peoples until 19th century when heavy interbreeding between clans, tribes and races took place therefore weakening special bloodlines.

Mawu Lisa: The Tale of Creation

Mawu Lisa: The Tale of Creation
In African mythology, Nana Buluku was the original creator of the universe. In addition to this, she gave birth to twins, which which were to rule the world after Nana Buluku retired. Lisa had all the powers of the day, being a god of war, heat and strength. Due to his fiery nature, he lived in the sun itself. His sister, Mawu, was at the exact opposite pole. She had the peace and grace of the night and she was very wise. She was the goddess of fertility, joy and rest. According to her nature, she lived in the moon. And thus, Mawu Lisa, the two divine entities, ruled the world.

Although Mawu and Lisa were siblings, they were both in love with each other. Since they lived on the sun and moon, respectively, it was hard for them to meet. The only time they could do this was during an eclipse. According to a legend, this is when Mawu Lisa conceived their children, because the sun and moon overlapped. Together, the two of them had seven pairs of twins. When all children grew up, they each received an assignment based on their abilities.

Mawu Lisa: The Tale of CreationMawu Lisa

The first pair of twins ruled the Earth together and protected all life that was on it. The second pair of twins ruled over the sky, the third the seas, the fourth had command over all living things, the fifth prepared the land and provided tools and weapons, the sixth determined the lifespan on humans and the last pair were too young to rule. For this reason, they became the messengers of the gods, delivering prayers from the humans to the deities.

Mawu Lisa’s story comes from the Fon mythology. The Fon people of the Republic of Benin spread this story by word of mouth. This is a story that dates back since the beginning of the 10th century. The people of Africa tell this story as a part of their strict mythological system.
