Sex scandal hits the catholic Priests.

5% of catholic priest have been accused of sodomy on children for over 3 decades (homosexually/anally abusing).It is alleged that about 19 countries are affected, with USA and Ireland having the most cases.In USA alone 4,400 priest have been implicated in this act between 1950 to 2002.However in recent years more and more people are coming out with claims of having been sexually abused by these priests.In USA the church had paid more than 2.5 billion dollars in damages to the victims.
The latest scandal which is coming from Germany the home country of Pope Benedict.He is being accused of knowing this practice has been going on  and shielding the priests from prosecutions.
