CBN had a prediction that inflation rate will fall to a single digit by the middle of next year 2018. 

The CBN Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele said that there is hopefullnes and confidence that food prices will surely come down, and it will help to improve the reduction in core inflation.

Inflation rate has been a major reason for bank’s high monetary policy rate.

With the reserves growing consistently on the watch of the current CBN management, we can be sure that the economic recovery is being solidified. A lot is coming together now to deliver economic gains. A bag of rice is now under 17,000. Who would have thought this possible at the peak of the recession only a short while ago?
