The Catholic Church, won't be as powerful as before, simply because it'd lose most of its traditional members (trust me they're people who left the Church simply because the popes stopped wearing the Tiara, and because John Paul II prayed in a mosque), and that would really weaken its strength. Check history. Little things, especially during the period of Reformation and Counter Reformation, greatly weakened the Catholic Church. And the one thing that had kept it strong is the oath of celibacy on the side of the priests. Bringing an end to it would, in great ways, weaken the Catholic Church. It'd lose many members who may leave to start their own church with Catholic traditional rules (check the Palmerean church) for instance.

So if you don't understand something, just ask, instead of engaging in low-key rigmarole.

So, how does that change anything? What are yoiu hoping to achieve via this trash? I've been trying to make a sense out of this mention and I find it utterly senseless. Marriage or no marriage, their church will still stand.

Marriage or no marriage, it doesn't change the fact that the Bible supports both marriage and celibacy. It is a matter of choice. You can decide to marry or stay single. Whatever your decision, it is not a sin. So, why are you foaming in the mouth?

No where in the Bible did it say that Paul was referring to priests and by the way in the new testament we are all priests unto the Lord .

Jesus Christ never got married, but Apostle Peter, on whom Jesus built the church was a married man.

All the priests in the old testament were all married, if not there tribes would have been extinted.

So instead of deceiving ourselves, why can't we remove the age long human wisdom that is sending priests to hell. If they are married they will not be gay.
