Let's Debate The Future Of Nigeria. by GuyWise(m): 1:17pm On Nov 05, 2017
All of us can agree that Nigeria of today is not working and there is no hope in sight for our dear country to work in the future.....there is no(electricity, road, school, hospital, employment,) kidnapping and hardship everywhere.

Debate
Do you think that Nigeria as a country today will ever work and start to have those things listed above that we don't have today?

If YES:How can we achieve it before the next 15yrs?

If NO:What do you think may be the best solution(Disintergration, Fiscal-federalism or Regional-Government?)

Lets face the fact Nigeria is not working, look at all the countries that we were told to have gotten independence before them are doing very fine in terms of all things... which way naija?

After 25 viewers no one make a comment, that shows you that Nigeria matter has tired everybody because the more you look the less you see.

I am convinced beyond doubt that Nigeria will never work/
The religious and ethnic divide is irreconcilable.

Two cannot work together, except they agree.
When value systems of two people are opposites, there is no room for togetherness.

The Islamic North is more interested in Sharia, Islamic Education, Arabic Studies, Jihardism, etc
We on the other hand, are more interested in Engineering, Medicine, English Studies, liberalism, freedom of speech and religion.

These two extremes are impossible to reconcile.
The North cannot negotiate Islam and we cannot negotiate our liberalism.

OP, thanks for this thread.

Well my own reasons for why Nigeria will never work even in a millennium is because of ethnic sentiments shikena. We ain't one and can never be one. Our differences are too much and contrast sharply. If a southerner gets into power, the north oppose with everything they have including violence.

A particular region sees themselves as the born to rule whereas a particular region no longer gives a shiit.

Hatred for a particular region is a rallying point for the others and it seems that is the only point where those other Nigerians can come to a collective agreement.

The people are mostly foolish and the education is nothing to write home about.

My opinion is that nature should be allowed to take its course. Let's these different nations envying and strangling each other find their ways, their histories and takes their destinies in their hands. Only then will positive progress be seen in this geographical space known today as Nigeria.

Let's stop fighting nature, cos she always wins.

You've never shown any proof that you can ever make sense. I still have hope though. Don't keep my hopes up.

Once again, as Nations are there developing fast, people are still talking about the future of a British Corporation called the Nigger Area LOL.

All the leaders each day talk about unity over and over, why?

Because there is nothing else for them to do but to deceive una....

Simply disintegration!!!! If the zoo remains as configured, the next 50 years shall look just as today. There has never been progress in a place that lacks unity. It is unfortunate that Nigerians tend to misinterpret unity.

The operative word in the above crap is share. It is high time the zoo called Nigeria is shared.
