Why Is Jesus Compared To Satan In The Bible? by amarachukwuZ: 12:19am On Nov 06, 2017
My pastor (who has recently passed away, sadly) told me that the Holy Bible was the correct word of God, and I believe that myself. On reading my copy this Sunday morning as usual, I came across revelations 22:16. Jesus says: " I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star."

But in Isaiah 14:12, we see: "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!".

Why does our Lord Jesus refer to himself in the same terms as Lucifer? And how can He be the offspring of David when God was his father? I'd appreciate some help on this, because I am very confused now.

Jesus, Yahweh and Allah have many things in common. It's a mystery to the unenlightened and religious people, but not a mystery to us who are enlightened. Visit the DOCTUFOS OF TRUTH for the history of the universe>>>

Thank you for your reply, OtemSapien. I've looked at the material you have directed people to, but I confess I do not understand it. Did God write it? Does it answer my query about Jesus and Satan?

I know a bit about UFO cults. Do you remember the "Heaven's Gate" cult? They're the ones who cut off their own testicles and committed suicide so they could be picked up by the mother-craft hiding on a comet approaching Earth. Are you one of them?

I know the Scientologists have a theory about aliens from 85 mlilion years ago, but I think they're just making it up to get money. How could they know about that anyway?

Can anybody help with my Bible question? I'm still puzzled by what I have read.

The answer itself is in that voluminous Doctufos of truth. Zeusus(being the original name of Jesus) was a son of Satan(Yahweh) by adoption and he represented Satan in many ways. All these things are written in the DOCTUFOS OF TRUTH.

Thank
First of am happy you're asking questions, I know they would come to shame you using the holy spirit and damnation but it's just a pile of hogwash.

The bible isn't the "word of god" it's a book(not really a good book) put together by a bunch of elite to control the masses that's why you see so many contradictions. Did you know the book of Mark was first written before the other synoptic gospels (Matthew and Luke)? In the Old Testament you see how god asked his people to murder innocent babies and he becomes a sweet loving god in the new testament that sent his son or is it himself to die for the sins of the world. Does that even make sense? You can Google contradictions in the bible.

The "Man" Jesus was a descendant of David, by lineage. He is also a descendant of Adam, of Abraham etc. David is used because of his signifance to God, and to Israel's royalty. Till today, he is the most reverred king in Israel. So Jesus is illustrated as king not only in heaven but on earth. Jesus is THE BRIGHT AND MORNING STAR. While Lucifer was the SON OF THE MORNING. Have you ever seen a bright star shinning in the morning? Definitely not. The description here is of one whose brightness cannot be outdone by the sun. Whose image is unfathomable and indescribable. Jesus is now the physical representation of the brightness of God's glory (Hebrews 1:3). As for your topic, don't get it twisted, there is NO comparison between Jesus and Lucifer anywhere in the bible. Lemme give you one reason: Jesus is God and Lucifer was an angel and guess who created angels? God of course.

Not only Satan was referred to as bright morning star. Angels in general are refeered to as morning stars because of their outstanding talent and preeminence. Ref:

Job 38:6-7 KJV
Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; [7] When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

Human beings are also referred to as stars , like in:

Genesis 37:9 KJV
And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.

Calling Satan and other angels morning star is like emphasising on the outstanding talent satan and other angels are created with.

Jesus is the Bridght morning Star. A star that Shines Brighty even in the morning.

There is no comparison between Jesus and Satan.

Sounds like just another epithet needlessly tagged on to Satan and Jesus then? I wonder if their similarities go further? They were both there when the world was said to have been created after all.
