Comradic and rugged greeting to EKSUITES at large, it not a news that the management of Ekiti state University ado ekiti have without a genuine reason made an increase of the sum of total of school fee of the entire students of the University. When I was in 100L the school authority stated that we are to pay #66,000 on getting to 200L after Nigeria parents have struggled to pay close to #200,000(acceptance fee inclusive) per child, during the time of economic recession, not to talk of other minor fees the students paid, some parents are just getting over debts, loan of the payment they made then just to ensure their children admission is safe. Now, on visiting me portal, the school have made a mandatory and compulsory payment of over #100,000 *besides we paid for excursion at year and we never went for any, even the portal fee we are to pay shd be part of the ICT in the breakdown, EKSU WHY? , portal fee of 4000 makes it 109,000 where do they expect average parents to get it from, so an average parent can't produce a lawyer or engineer c because those faculties will have to pay more than they expect, after majorities of the parents are rest assured of paying #66,000 and even most student have told parents the earlier slated fee, now we are to pay almost double. The question is, is EKITI STATE UNIVERSITY ADO EKITI a private University? Ekiti state University management should please consider parents of students and even consider some students who work and at the same time study jus to pay their fees themselves, the Outgoing student Union should also assist the students they hereby represent because this is the time we need them most
I hereby plead with EKSU management and ekiti state government to please have mercy on parents as most students r likely to withdraw due to failure to pay before exam begins, we know every member of the management is also a father and mother to a child. Nigeria students hereby plead, cry and call for reduction in the school fee on our portals to mke us pay on time
