Who knows a university in the UK or US that is not expensive to study in for masters? I'll be awaiting your response, thanks.

well, I have to make an honest contribution to dis post since there are sincere people here who need it.

over d years i hustled for scholarships on the internet and there are a thousand and one of them.I could not get any of dem cos I'm a HND holder so I had to go back to school for a bsc.

however, some of the scholarship programmes i was following require dat u pay part payment while for some, u dont pay a dine.some examples of the fully funded scholarships are MOFCOM, STIPENDUM HUNGARICUM, CGS, KGSP, AUSTRALIA AWARDS AFRICA, NFP (u can Google dem for more details). There are still many others anyway.check out sites like afterschoolafrica, scholars4dev for more scholarships.

that's for those who want to travel through school sha.

fast forward to my relationship with an American. to cut d long story short, she sent me an invitation, i gathered all I needed for the B2 visa interview (I did not go through any agent to apply for anything. I used my small Tenco W2 to do EVERYTHING.so u dnt need to waste ur money cos u dey apply for visa.na unnecessary lack of confidence dey make people fall mugu to agents) paid d normal 64k at GTB, booked my visa interview online.

Jan 9,2018 my interview date
got to d U.S embassy in Abuja.ppl jst litter d street, no b crowd sha.

the hustlers rushed immediately i stepped out of my taxi seeking to see d documents i came with (obviously to tell me bros dis one is wrong oh! u have to reprint dis one in coloured dis n dat) but because i had read oda people's experiences on nairaland,i simply told dem,I'm nt showing u,free me,I'm ok.I really did my homework well.

#note, for doz of u going for interview, print ur documents in black n white, even ur DS-160 dnt let doz hustlers deceive u n collect unnecessary money to reprint it in coloured. u will regret spending dt money afterwards.

every 30 mins a uniformed guy would come and announce d time.of course u must hv selected d time fr ur interview online while scheduling d appointment. so every 30 mins more people were escorted to d embassy kpom kwem.

nwanne, as we reach, com see queue! people wey go since d last one hour still dey queue. but d queue was just to confirm ur appointment, check if u hv d necessary documents. from there we entered d first screening room, removed belt, wallet, shoe, everything! gush! do i have to tell all dis long story?

fast forward to d interview in fact(after several screening, fingerprinting, submission of passport photo, joining another queue etc)

VO: please submit ur passport tru d opening
Me:complied

VO: have u travelled out of the country before?
ME: replied

VO: why do u want to travel to STATE NAME
ME: vacation to spend my annual leave

VO:So so person is ur friend
Me:Yes

VO:have you met her in person before
Me: replied

VO: how did you meet?
ME:replied

VO: sorry you do not qualify for a U.S visa at this time.

na so my 64k ,stress and other expenses go o!

but the truth is: even chieftaincy titled men wey com dat day, nothing for dem! even uniformed men with good jobs and heavy bank accounts, nothing! even janded looking people who have traveled to several European countries and other developed countries, nothing for them! doz consuls at the U.S embassy no dey see you sef!
infact some interviews lasted less dan 45secs (I'm not exaggerating).you go dey for queue inside d hall dey c am for yourself.

why am I saying this? the answer is: please keep dat ur hard earned 64k dt u r about to use for B2 visa application cos U.S embassy in naija no dey give naija people B2 visa easily.

even if you are sincere in ur mission, dem no go give u.na Trump cause am.

instead explore the schooling path or K1/CR1 visa.those ones are sharp sharp so far you do your home well.by the grace of God, myself and my fiancé have started our K1 visa proce
I wish you all the best.if you ha e a y question i can answer feel free to ask it here.

I want to travel to state too for students visa

please sir can you explain the meaning of K1/CR1 and did you sure embassy can give someone to it easily. Thanks

Majority of schools in the US does not require upfront tuition payment from students until they arrived the US.
If you have good CGPA and a high score in your standardize exam with a well detailed and catchy statement of purpose, you stand a chance for full or partial scholariship.
I know this comment has been for over two years, but I am still quoting it in the hope for a reply.

Sir, is 4.31 CGPA (B.Sc. International Relations) and a professional qualification (Graduate Member of NIM during youth service) enough to get a full M.Sc. scholarship in the U.S.? I am willing to read like a mad dog and achieve high scores in the IELTS/TOEFL if there are guarantees of funding consideration. I am a poor struggling guy who just finished service earlier this year. I wanted to graduate with a first class, but work-study could be very negative especially if the finances are poor. I am waiting for your honourable and factually frank reply, Sir.

Your GP is quite impressive. With hardwork and preparation you should get funding.
First, you need to do intensive research on schools in the US you wants to apply to.
In principle, a prospective international graduate student must have a BSc or equivalent from a recognize school, Statement of purpose, letter of recommemdations, CV, TOEFL/IELTS (based on the school requirement).
If you have work experiences, publication during your undergraduate studies is an added advantage.
Some department required applicant to write GRE, hence the reason you've to check each program requirements.
I might send some links to you in order to aid your school search.

wow! Your response really excites me, sir. Thank you so much for the encouragement. I heard that U.S. Colleges encourage cross-disciplinary courses, so I am willing to try out Economics/Political Economy/Development Studies. Also, I have written tons of articles, but I have not been able to publish because my mails to the Nigerian media outlets are always ignored. I am willing to write a long essay to stand a chance. I will follow your instructions. About the links you offered to help with, my mail address is olanrewajuabiodun4@yahoo.com

Thank you and God bless you for your response, sir.
