Is it misconception to believe that all the people who believe in Jesus Christ will make Heaven?
According to JW,God selects a limited number of faithful Christians who, after their death, will be resurrected to life in heaven. (1 Peter 1:3, 4) Once they have been chosen, they must continue to maintain a Christian standard of faith and conduct in order not to be disqualified from receiving their heavenly inheritance.—Ephesians 5:5; Philippians 3:12-14.

I am afraid you are mixing teachings up left and right. What John wrote of the 144,000 is not that they alone will make it into Heaven. Instead, the 144,000 were the first batch who were marked and sealed by God and then sent out into the world to gather back the lost sheep of Israel, the descendants of Israel who were cursed and scattered by God from every tongue, every language, every race of people and every nation on the earth — the multitude of people who will make up God's Kingdom of Priests to rule the world in His Name. undecided

While the 144,000 — all of them Israelites — are guaranteed Heaven at the end, the multitude — all of them also Israelites — that was gathered back to God by them is not. But when judgment day finally arrives, the 144,000 and the multitudes will be judged by God, some bound for eternal reward(Heaven) whereas others will be bound for eternal damnation(the Lake of fire or Hell). undecided
Re: Is It Only 144000 people That Will Make Heaven? by MaxInDHouse(m): 5:34am On Jan 20, 2023
God never designed heaven for humans it's the earth that He purposely created for us to live {Psalms 115:16} when preparing the earth for His first human Son (Adam) God created so many things to beautify earth in preparation for the birth of His son! Luke 3:38

The birds, animals, insects, microorganisms and many more are fleshy creatures made from the same material God used to make man {Ecclesiastes 3:20 compare to Genesis 2:7} man is the only wise creature that's why he's said to be made in God's image! Genesis 1:26-28

The idea of selected few going to live in heaven is due to Jesus' request. Jerusalem is the cite where the world government house was supposed to have been built {Isaiah 2:3} but the Israelites treated God's messengers in their midst with contempt {Matthew 23:37-38} so God's son declared that Israel has lost that privilege of being God's chosen nation! Matthew 21:43

Jesus' disciples became devastated in learning about this so he encouraged them to continue in the things he taught them and promised them that though Jerusalem will no longer be the center of God's government {Matthew 23:1-5} but due to his love for this faithful Jews who stood by him through thick and thin he will petition his father on their behalf so that they may continue to be with him forever where he is {John 14:1-3} so since Jesus must return to his own home in the spirit realms {John 8:23} he's supposed to be directing his co-rulers from heaven through God's Holy Spirit {Matthew 18:20} but he decided to take them home to himself so that they will rule over the earth from there. 1Thessalonians 4:17

God's purpose initially was for Jacob's children to become co-rulers with the Christ but when the Christ arrived the Israelites rejected him just as their forefathers have always treated God's messengers sent to them {Luke 11:47-51} Jesus later used the illustration of a King who set a wedding feast for his son to teach the Israelites that God has given faithful individuals from other nations the invitation to become co-rulers with the Christ's! Read ~ Matthew 22:1-14

So in the Bible book of Revelation where 12,000 individuals is to be taken from each of twelve tribes of Israel to be enlisted for Christ's heavenly government Jesus made it clear that people from other nations will be opportuned to become his co-rulers in heaven. Please if you want to confirm this crosscheck the names of the original twelve sons of Jacob (Israel) as recorded @ Exodus 1:1-3 and compare to the names Jesus mentioned @ Revelations 7:5-8. You will discover that names some sons of Jacob was omitted!

So it's the 144,000 individuals who will rule with the Christ that are to be taken to heaven and God never chose a single person that has not been taught by the Christ that's why Jesus could say:

"Truly I say to you, among those born of women, there has not been raised up anyone greater than John the Baptist, but a lesser person in the Kingdom of the heavens is greater than he is" Matthew 11:11

This shows that all the people that lived before John the baptist aren't part of this group because they were never taught Jesus' system of government but they will all be resurrected back to perfect life when God's Kingdom takes over the earth. Daniel 12:13 compare to Job 14:13-15

Thanks, God bless you and may you have PEACE! smiley

Stop misleading yourself and people, it was clearly stated in the book of Revelation chapter 14, that it's only 144,000 that will make heaven.

Forget this talk about the number of people to enter heaven. Jesus Christ has already told you what to do to qualify for heaven.
You need to be born of water and the spirit.
You need to overcome.
Just do your part and you will qualify for his kingdom.

All these are all Christian fabrications..

Earth was created for man to dwell.

When man " dies" how body returns to dust and becomes part of the earth while his breath or spirit becomes part of God and becomes one with it...

You are obviously reading that book upside-down-inside-out. The passage you quoted there does not state that only the 144,000 will enter into Heaven. Verse 1 states that the 144,000 stood with the Lamb on Mount Sion. Since when did Mount Sion on earth become synonymous with Heaven? undecided

The rest of the passage speaks of the 144,000 having been the first fruits redeemed by the Lamb meaning that there were others who were redeemed as well. The 144,000 were the first who were marked by Jesus Christ and sealed as well so they were guaranteed Heaven from their beginning. Then they were sent out to all corners of th earth to.teach God's New Covenant and Law to all their brothers and sisters -- Israel --- in every tribe, every tongue and every nation of the earth. undecided

During my days as a Jehovahs Witness, we were taught that these 144,000 "annointed" are made up of Jehovahs Witnesses who would rule with Jesus in heaven over all mankind.

We were also taught that these 144,000 are the true "born again Christians" and they would be at the side of Jesus when he comes back to kill billions of people who are not Jehovahs Witnesses in the war of Armageddon.

Back then, we were taught that only this 144,000 are part of the "new covenant" and therefore only them could eat and drink the bread and wine served during the memorial of Jesus's death.

We were also taught that these only 144,000 are the true "sons of God" while the rest of us were only "friends of God".

Looking back, I find it hard to imagine that I used to believe in such crap doctrines of men.

Well, that is what years of endless indoctrination does to you.

Oh Yes.

I kid you not.

This is a FUNDAMENTAL teaching of Jehovahs Witnesses.

According to the Jehovah Witness doctrine, during the war of Armageddon, Jesus and the 144,000, will destroy billions of people who are not Jehovahs Witnesses.

After the war of Armageddon, one of their responsibilities will be to bury billions of dead bodies.

I dare any JW to deny this.

This what they won't tell you the first time they visit your home smiling and telling you they bring you the "goodnews of God's kingdom".

That is why JWs are proud and condescending when relating with people of other religions - they see you as heading for slaughter.

Some of them even look forward to when they will inherit the lavish homes of some rich people who will be killed off during the war of Armageddon.

"In fact, with God's day of judgment so near today, all the world should 'keep silent before the Sovereign Lord Jehovah' and hear what he says through the "little flock" of Jesus' anointed followers and their companions, his "other sheep." (Luke 12:32; John 10:16)

Annihilation awaits all who will not listen and who thereby set themselves against rule by God's Kingdom." Watchtower 2001 Feb 15 p. 14

"During the final period of the ancient world that perished in the Flood, Noah was a faithful preacher of righteousness. (2 Peter 2:5) In these last days of the present system of things, Jehovah's people are making known God's righteous standards and are declaring good news about the possibility of surviving into the new world. (2 Peter 3:9-13)

Just as Noah and his God-fearing family were preserved in the ark, survival of individuals today depends on their faith and their loyal association with the earthly part of Jehovah's universal organization." Watchtower 2006 May 15 p.22 "Are You Prepared for Survival?"

"There are billions of people who do not know Jehovah. Many of them in ignorance practice things that God's Word shows to be wicked. If they persist in this course, they will be among those who perish during the great tribulation." Watchtower 1993 Oct 1 p.19

You actually sound surprised.

This is a FUNDAMENTAL doctrine of Jehovahs Witnesses.

This why they kept churning out fake prophecies over the past 140 years.

They predicted that this destruction would happen in -

1914 - it failed

1925 - it failed

1975 - it still failed

But they ain't giving up.

Become a Jehovahs Witness or risk been killed by Jesus and the 144,000.

As what you don't know so that you can get the facts regarding what we believe instead of speculating without knowing what we have in mind.
144,000 are the born again Christians who are going to live with Christ in heaven but millions of JWs will be alive after Jesus has slaughtered all nonejws, we will destroy all the buildings you people set up that's not according to God's purpose and apportion lands for each survivor to build a home of his taste with his wife so that each person can have his own house and vineyard in Paradise on earth.
It's after we've cleared all the corpses of faithless people that resurrection will start beginning with the JWs that died last, they will be the first to resurrect followed by those that died before them that's how it will continue until it reaches people like John the baptist, and other prophets of ancient times.
As for Jesus' apostles and most of the ones whose names are recorded in the first century they are born again so they have gone to live in heaven as angels.

If you need further clarification feel free to approach JWs in your neighbourhood but don't think your mockery or anger can change that it's our belief and it's unchangeable! smiley
