Cultisim in our higher Institution seem ever present with each passing year, breeding new members and causing chaos and havoc for all students alike.
A secret cult is as an organization where individuals come together to pledge their allegiances, under an oath and have a social bond of commitment and dedication for the good of the organization.
Why are cults so popular among the youths nowadays? What are the main types of cultism in Nigeria and what symbols do they have?
Cultisim in Nigerian universities have both the male and female confraternities which usually thrive at universities and even outside of campus.
The main reason some folks join cult geoups are for the lust for power, riches, and prestigious status in campus and the society at large.
Having being in the books of Ebonyi state ubiversity in 2009, I felt the harsh reality of being a potential cult target. Every outing and class related activity was a room to intimate fresh students and old ones.
On daily basis cult members from different confratanity try to recruit new members, cult group ranging from Aye (), Vikings (Baggers) Buccaneers (Sea Dogs), Aye Apachee (②②), Supreme Eiye con fraternity etc, have for years been a thorn in the flesh on most students in the Nigerian universities thus the question which confraternity was a thorn in your flesh during school days?
