Well said jare and some fools will be coming here to condemn UNILAG for its social vibes also, not knowing that a university environment should be a subset of a country where you have the political activist( SOWORE, O'LAW, FEMI), social activist(Denrele,BobRisky,Funke Akindele etc), bloggers(linda Ikeji), public speakers(Gurero,Camara), scholars(Ayodele), politicians(Ambode,Osinbajo), writers(Dele Momodu) amongst others, Though I respect University of Ibadan but at that No university in the country can be match with the school of first choice and the Nation's pride because we're on different track.

hey when talking of choice.. unilorin is ahead

Way to go...these are normal things in universities the world over. In South Africa, universities there have football teams that play in the national league. It is only in Nigeria that we focus on books alone

Nigerian Universities and misplaced priorities, this is not news in the 21st century, local milestones such as this make Nigerian Vice Chancellors see themselves as demigods, There are ground breaking researches that the university should plough money into rather than this white elephant project. I think it is high time we restructure our Universities to cater for themselves like their colleagues in the US and UK.
