sis, I can feel ur pain, I think u shud tell him plainly DAT u abhor his dirty habits n help him in washing.
Then in sex tell him he must have a bath n brush before any show. Be patient with him, it might take time. This is as a result of parental up bringing, must parents don't see d need to train their children esp. d male n this can be as a result. He might even be d only child or male in d family thereby making him a sacred cow. so go easy, he will learn

He is being passive aggressive because he feels you are on his case all the time. There is talking to each other and there is nagging men tend not to listen when being nagged. Are you certain it’s not a case of you being obsessive about cleanliness?
Think outside the box with how your addrsss his aversions. You can’t change someone 100% but you can meet each other halfway. Why not offer to bath together? You loved him once right? Surely his aversions were evident during courtship or did you think you could change him?

This may sound very petty but what do I do with my husband. He is driving me crazy!

We have been married for almost a year but I swear,I cannot take it anymore.

Chris is very dirty and lazy. I try my best as a wife to handle all he cleaning. Chris drops his dirty clothes everywhere. His boxers everywhere. His wet towels everywhere.

All these dirty habits been driving me nuts but the most annoying is,Chris does not like to shower before intimacy. Shower is one thing,mouth brushing is another!

I have tried to speak to him lovingly but he does not want to listen. He thinks it is love abi normal for me to accept his dirtiness. He said it is a show of my acceptance of him. Like seriously,who does that?

Because of his dirtiness,I really abhor intercourse. It feels dirty to me. I have been thinking of speaking to someone to help me speak with Chris but I also fear that he would be upset if I do that.

But I cannot keep quiet,I cannot bear it any longer.

Please advice me.

My pastor, on the contrary on Sunday said any married man living with his wife who is always very tidy and arranges his clothes by himself after getting home, is still living a bachelor life. Says as a married man,ur wife should do everything for u and pack all those clothes u throw everywhere. I disagreed with him totally. Why should a married and mature man be untidy and filthy. U don't bath at night after all the stressful day work, and u still want to pounce on ur wife. I think the OP should have gotten married to me. I am so decent to a fault, my clothes neatly arranged by me after getting home, and also shower at any slight sweat on my body; even my wife started to shower and bath at night after I corrected her. It's well. U should have seen this earlier Madam.

Why not gently and romantically invite him to shower with you whenever you are in there instead of lamenting up and down.


Some men can be dirty though.
