Pastor Chris does not need to a government official before he can do something beneficial for his people , if he is capable of owning jets, then he is capable of rehabilitating a road at least in his local govt of origin... Must we always leave everything for government to do, we all know that government performance are woeful and that alone is enough reason for private individual to come to the aid of the masses and render assistance so that this nation can develop...I don't know how acquiring material things would improve the life of people other channel it toward what can bring about development let alone his state of origin (I don't see anything bad in that, let his own people also benefit from the wealth) ....they are the one that preach life is all vanity

Is pastor Chris the state government or Fedral Government to fix the road. Is he not paying his tax to the government? Your state and FG has failed u and not pastor Chris.

Did Jesus has a horse or build gigantic house for himself then? (Though I'm not against that). It has not to be government alone ...individuals can contribute too

Is he the governor of the State?
Has he ever held a political appointment?
I don't like him at all(because he fries his hair) but building a bad village road is not his duty.

Instead of you to blame the government, you are blaming pastor. Pastor(s)can contribute to people's life, not necessarily by tarring the roads or lighting the street. Surprisingly, anything pertaining to pastors are being criticized. Tell your gov't to do the needful.

U too receive bag of wisdom coz u lack it immensely, nobody is forced to pay tithe any Christian who pays tithe deems it as something right to do so dont come here and talk gibberish, everybody is just talking stupidly and foolishly, how can you expect a pastor to cone repair a road simply because it leads to his home town....and besides do you have any idea how many lives he has touched, mouths he has fed and so on,do you even know about people from his home town he has helped....now for every dilapidated structure, budget has been set aside for it and i promise you even if Pastor.Chris repairs that road himself the stupid useless government instead of using that money saved from that to help the masses in other ways will eat the money and they are blameless because they are not pastors.......note that before one becomes a pastor he is first a human being just like you and i,maybe when u get to be in his shoes u will make Nigeria turn london.

So it is now the job of pastors to mend roads.. Oga talk another thing!
Only Nigerians like yourself feel the need to tell people how to spend their money.
Funny thing is if he did do the road people like you will still come out to say.." Just imagine his church members are hungry and he is using their money to do the road to his village"

Go and make your own money and spend it how you like.

PS: I'm not a member of his church or a fan.

If you are atheist because of people then it's really bad. I guess one day you will stop eating because you ate bad food from a restaurant .

You don't stop eating because you ate some bad stuff rather you change what you eat. To me if you stop believing there is a God because of people, then you're not being fair to yourself.

Has Redeem not worked on roads before? Is Adeboye not still criticized for having private jet?
Re: The Road That Leads To Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's Hometown In Edo (Photos) by Meritocracy: 8:58am On Nov 23, 2017
Its not his duty to repair the road, so far he's paying tax. Though i'm not a christian and he has not been paid from government budget, meanwhile where is governor and senator that suppose to do it. Even i read it on this forum that some area in bayelsa never see motor in their village before cos there is no road leading there and Jonathan ruled for years.

Isn't that the work of the govt. When Musicians buy private jets, there are celebrated; footballers buy, no quarrels; even politicians that are corrupt, when they buy theirs, no questioning but as soon as a Pastor buys, everyone begins to criticize. Whats our problem.

The Pastor is not a Governor! He is not sharing oil money! Though he is obliged to support his people, there are exclusive government interventions that political office holders owe the citizens! He is a teacher of the good news, Pastor of believers and guidance to destiny seekers! Those that take his words and use them gets profit of the blessings it carries! Only God blesses! Pastors are only guidance! He can not give you fish but he teaches many how to fish and there are testimonies! Let's not b
AME them (pastors) with the failure of Government! They only accountable to God whom they represent and profess!

Do you know that the contract for that road may have been awarded several times with nothing to show for it? As an atheist have you asked your governors what they are doing? Or is that not why you're an atheist?

OP and his co-travelers should go get their life together, what is pastor Chris suppose to do here? We pay tax to govt against our will and so I see no reason why govt shouldn't be the one to do it.
In Pastor Chris' street there are non-believers who pay tax to the govt also. Why expect 'tithe' money to service people who don't believe in tithe?
God bless you
