It's Thanksgiving Day today in the USA!

(Don't tell the natives oh! Lest memories of small pox blankets and the trail of tears ruin the festivities. Ah Ahmrika. shocked )

Anyway, it is probably the biggest annual holiday in the continental united states, being celebrated by just about everyone.

People duly give thanks to the deity, ancestors and nature for seeing them through this complex world.

I will thank my ancestors, for they were truly wise, hardy and aspirational. Omo Ogun ni mi. E se o! Aa se yi s'amodun o. Ase!

Give your thanks, as a Nigerian. No matter where you are. Don't curse Buhari. Yes, there are many things to complain and be miserable about, but be really thankful and appreciative.

Politics section na my people. wink

Nothing can stop Igbo presidency in 2019, or 2023 latest! Quote me.

I like Okorocha but will wait to see who is motivated to throw their hat in the ring by getting his or her name out there by middle of next year, regardless of party affiliation.

Happy Thanksgiving. cheesy

I can authoritatively tell you that Igbo presidency is not the solution to igbo problems...
Nigerian elites will only allow individuals from the south east who are selfish and have no genuine passion for the development of the region in aso rock...
People like Umahi and okorocha comes to mind...
It's on record that majority of self centered politicians today in Nigeria are from the south east... they are just there for the money while pointing accusing fingers at the center....

The east needs total overhaul of her dormant politicians

Propose your own potential candidates Throw out names of decent politicians or concerned citizens so we can learn more about them.

I conclude you don't have anything for which to give thanks? I think we should try and stay on topic. . .somewhat. wink

maybe not the Yoruba and South south
But I know what the north gets out of their tenure...
Total domination of all security apparatus of the nation
Massive decline of unemployment level in the zone
Juicy underground contracts for her elites
The list is endless

But don't get all worked Up about the poverty and almajiri ish.... Its just the consequence of the lifestyle and archaic religious background

Thanking God that Yorubas have bounced back from that useless GEJ attempt to sideline omoluabia for iyanmiris.

We silently played our politics and got it right. The number 2 and 3 seats are held by Yorubas.
Finance, work, power and housing all under Yorubas cheesy

On the topic...
I would like to say am thankful for the life of Nigerians
Even though some wicked people in government wants to make sure we perish
By making sure that schools are on strike because their wards study abroad
By making sure that our health system is in shambles because they can afford a trip to London hospital
By making sure food is costly because theirs is always in the budget etc

I would say am thankful for the life of Nigerians

I love native Americans. This is Thanksgiving, Nigeria style. Thank Buhari for not dying in London and allowing imperialists to run roughshod over you like they did the American Indians!

Are you a Sango devotee? Or you're just running your mouth anyhow? undecided
