today the main gates. of the university were closed....including other back gates.....the military and the police were seen this morning within the school premises... the students had a peaceful protest yesterday against the unjust hike in fees. students were asked to vacate the school yesterday in a post by the school's PRO Senate at its emergency meeting today Thursday, 23rd November 2017 decided that all students of Ugbowo Campus and Ekenwan campus should vacate the hostels and campus not later than 6:00 PM Thursday, 23rd November, 2017 for security reasons. A new resumption date will be announced later. Please you are advised to comply according. However, convocation activities will continue as scheduled. Signed. M. O.
