Mechanical Or Electrical Engineering ? by Ezragenius: 11:42am On Nov 24, 2017
I'm just ambivalent as to what to do now nairalanders. I'm a 200L student of a federal university and will be in 300L by next year.
I want to major in Mechatronics engineering but currently I'm in mechanical engineering. So far, I find anything that has to do with electronics and computer so fascinating. Machines are just a second hatred now.
I want to change to electrical engineering but 200L is far spent and if I'm to change either, then I'll drop to 200L instead of being in 300L.
Age is no more on my side but I think I should go with changing to electrical and electronics engineering by next year 'cause a year isn't too much for my newly found passion.
What do you guys think I should do as I'm just vague with the right standing now.
I've lots of ideas and pprojects I'll work on but each of them have to do electronics.

Fynesboi, Lalasticlala, mynd44
I'll be glad if a large percent of nairalanders give their opinions.

It's not about opportunities but what I want to do with electronics. I love it like mad now and I've downloaded lots of books on it and I can tell vividly that I've more electronics textbooks than mechanical textbooks.
Is one year really a better sacrifice for studying electrical engineering considering that I'll be dropping to 200L?
