1. Tinubu can never join PDP, a party he bitterly fought against for 16 years. So, Atiku is without a powerful ally that can change the game.

2. Tinubu cannot drag Vice Presidency with his political son, Osinbajo. So, even if PDP offers him such, he will reject it.

3. Analysis shows that if Buhari runs with Osinbajo, Tinubu would have no choice but to remain in APC, as he cannot abandon Osinbajo and support another ticket.

4. No matter what, Tinubu would not want to leave APC, because if he leaves, he will lose the prestige of nominating the Vice President.

5. Governor Bindow of Adamawa would be used to tie Atiku down in a power struggle for Adamawa, distracting him. Remember the corruption case that was used to 'distract' Atiku in 2007 until very close to the election.

6.Buhari may hand over the remaining APC machinery in the South West to Tinubu. If Tinubu is happy in APC, chances of Buhari defeat in 2019 are drastically reduced. Gov Bindow will also keep Atiku bogged down in Adamawa.

A vote for Buhari in 2019 is a vote for Igbo Presidency in 2023. Igbo Presidency will bring many benefits to Nigeria, and a sense of belonging to Igbos.

In politics anything can happen. Since Buhari become president, Tinubu has been relegated to the background. Now that it is becoming clearer that there might be mass exodus of people from APC, Tinubu has been rewarded with a flight to Abidjan with Buhari so that they can negotiate a better deal.

Tinubu was not relegated. He was just not given the control he envisaged.

The presidency is too powerful to be controlled.

seriously,I don't know where they see relegation, when his homeboy is the VP who is the head of national economic council.Even the new SGF belongs to tinubu camp because he was the deputy to bisi Akande in ACN.

Do they expect tinubu to be joining FEC meeting on Wednesdays and sitting in the same office with buhari? or should relocate to Abuja?

like I always say,all this"tinubu relegation" or whatever is conspiracy theory and self-pleasing delusion like lagos ownership. You only hear it from his enemies!

And stop playing politics with emotions!

because GEJ lost election, you became IPOB terrorists and abuse all tribes including Atiku's tribe(hausa fulani).
when nnamdi kanu ran away withs urine, you became slaves to the same Atiku you accused his tribe of born to rule mentality and called so many derogatory names!

All because GEJ election loss, you attracted enmity from all tribes!....even the only sole reasons Atiku will loose the north is because the IPOB terrorists are supporting him!

i prefer a sure 2019 Igbo vp than an imaginary 2023 presidential ticket. What would happen then if in 2023 buhari nominates to handover to tinubu? After igbos fooled themselves and voted him in 2019? What will happen when he goes against his words as he has done in the past?
Igbos are better served by remaining in pdp and fighting Apc tooth and nail till its defeated. Even if it takes 16 years.

Nothing is 100 percent certain in politics, but you have to try. If Buhari is reelected, in 2023, the Igbo would have a bargaining chip that cannot be easily swept off the carpet, in that Igbo would be the only group that has not produced president in 4th Republic.

Yoruba have produced; Niger Delta have produced; the North would have completed Yar Ardua's truncated tenure. It would then be difficult not to give it to the Igbo in 2023.

If we don't play our cards right, by 2040, we may still be talking about Igbo Presidency, without much bargaining chips.

Let Oha

Tinubu never wanted to control d presidency but rather he was interested in controlling party structure. Remember,no major decision was taken without him prior to 2015 election
However, he's not d only person that worked for d party ,other people also worked and it's d combined effort that brought Buhari's presidency

Tinubu is more sensitive to issues like this than we sometimes give him credit for. This is someone that abandoned his Vice Presidency ambition because he saw that a Muslim-Muslim ticket may create disafection among Christians.

That is one reason he may not want to run with Atiku. In 2023, unless he decides to run with a Northern Christian, he may say "Let the Igbos run".

You are disgracing the Igbo Nation with your senseless begging.
Majority of Igbos will rather go for restructuring than your stupid presidency.
A vote for Atiku is a vote for restructuring.
Beggar-in-Chief.

The joker in Nigerian politics is Middle Belt. Win Middle Belt and you will win the Presidency. The SW gave a marginal vote of 500000 to APC while Anambra alone gave PDP over 600000 votes.

When SW backed Atiku in 2007, did he win? NO! When SW backed Ribadu, did he win? NO! When the entire SW was mobilized for Buhari, how many votes did they gave him? a marginal 500000 votes.

Tinubu or no Tinubu, SW can't give APC more than 600000 votes, which Anambra alone if fully mobilized for election can guarantee to PDP.

Politicians scout SW because of their propagandist machineries not voting power. If you need to be projected, you need SW Media. Not that SW owns the media, but all media houses are concentrated there.

Atiku himself is an Institution, which a very powerful Media centre ably led by an able Igbo man, Ibe. Don't forget also the Head of Presidential Media Team, Garba Shehu is Atiku very loyal boy, former Director, Atiku Media Office, head of Atiku Media Team.

If you believe Bindow will not join PDP next year, then you are not a Nigerian.

Like it or hate it, we are Atikulating. Middle Belt are Atikulating as well, NE will Atikulate also.

Keep deceiving yourself.
The APC's 2023 ticket is not zoned to SE, but the entire South. Tinubu will sweatlessly clinched it.

If PDP fails to win the Presidency in 2019, the slot will still be zoned to the North. Aboki will rather vote PDP than APC to do an unprecedented 16 consecutive years.

Those folks ain't loyal to any party. They are only loyal to their Northern Agenda.

Atiku remains SE's shortest route to the Presidency.
