Ugbolokposo is an Itsekiri dominated area in Uvwie same way Okere Urhobo is an Urhobo enclave in Warri South.
The entire area is interlinked bros.

it's not a matter of who dominates that place, what matter is who owns the land?, some part of Ugbomro and Ebrumede are now called ugbolokposo.

In general that area belongs to the uvwie people of Urhobo.

Learn how to address a king as he is called, so not try to change the name or tittle simply because of tribal sentiments and hatred...I see that a couple of times here on this forum, especially from the urhobo folks..THERE IS NOTHING LIKE olu of itsekiri rather it is “OLU OF WARRI” it has been like this from inception not anyone can change it. a king is not addressed by his tribe but by the region and landmarks he rules over.
The original land on which the first and oldest/original part of the city of Warri was built- i.e where the city started out from was within the Itsekiri cultural area- so, it is under the Olu’s purview- The town derived its name from the word “Iwerre” the traditional name of the Itsekiris.
So the name Warri was derived from the “Iwere”

In actual sense we're all related sha, but don't like how they forcefully claimed all of that area in Ugbolokposo town.. They even had to extend it to the high tension /power line area, I'm sure they would have also tried to claim Okoribi to Alegbo too, lol. And they have a cemetery just before the power line where they bury any Itsekiri from anywhere, there's always a burial almost every other weekend. Lol
