What does the word of God say concerning tithe??

Please read the law of tithe in Deuteronomy and Malachy 3 when God said that we should bring in the tithe so that there will be FOOD in his house.

Also Abraham tithed only once and Jesus and the disciples NEVER TITHE.

That's where Matthew 6:1-4 comes in handy. The church or congregation gives but not through a modality called tithing. The book of Acts 4:32, 34 & 35, gives a clear answer to ur question. In fact, nowhere was tithing mentioned there, even wr there was an opportunity for it to be so mentioned and utilised. Look at 2 Corinthians 8:12, 13. That is the only and current recognised form of giving. Besides, it shocks me how so called MOGs wld place so much emphasis on giving, wen Matthew 6:33 spells out the priority of Christianity.

If 30% then it is no more tithe but offering. This just shows that pastors are not following out is written in the bible. If you preach that tithe is 10% while are you now increasing it to 30%. This is just a talk though... You have nothing to the backup collection of tithe from you members. The point is that olusho agutan turned oluje agutan has be exposed and people will get more enlightening by the day.

I'm not a member of the so called sheeple movement, but the debate is just too interesting to ignore. I'm watching both sides with an open mind.

No problems with the reverred Apostle increasing his tithe from 10% to 30%. My only issues with it are:
1. The Bible says what the right hand does the left hand shouldn't be aware of it, so we can still claim our heavenly rewards. Although then it was talking about giving to the poor, I believe the same principle applies .(Matthew 6:3)
2. If it was done to spite Freeze (I refuse to refer to him as Daddy), then it was a carnal decision and not motivated by the Holy Spirit.
3. Instead of giving Biblical reference, the man of God is quoting Adams Oshiomole!
