If you are in the know, you will have heard that Obama the 45 year old Presidential candidate is running for office in America. If he makes it through he will be the first Black American President, from Africa - Kenyan for that matter, you will note that he is only 45 , my question is when are we going to have a 45 year old running for office in Nigeria, i say not in my life time unless there is a revolution. Its very likely in the uk at the next Election - David Cameron a 40 year old might end up being the Prime Minister in the Uk, note he is forty something. Nigeria we hail thee we still have our our sixty year olds fighting for office , what hope do we have in the future in Nigeria if at this day and age in Nigeria we are not in a positon to boast of an emerging leader it so sad.

The party primary as practiced here would not allow for such candidate to emerge. Our system has been hijacked by money bags and you know what it takes to run for the presidency here(billions),how do you raise such money is the question to ask? Nigeria politic is still personality driven, until we elect IDEAS AND ISSUE candidate, an Obama will continue to elude us
