THE CITIZENS
I tell You the World ain't no longer safe
It like a dark place, where you'd run into so much pain
The evil ones are causing havoc and that's where they get their gain
The politician corrupting the youth
Just to satisfy their desire and that is to loot
Young Boys and girls like MUSA and AMINA can no longer afford school and even when they do; they still have no books
'cos the money meant for free education is part of their loot
So much lies from our leaders, that even the lies seems to be true
Corruption has been the order of the day, that even for you to be a leader, it must be your attribute!
Business men like CHIDERA n CHINEDU can not do business in the North Cos even if they do, they'd still have to move
Vision 2020 they talk of; but we all know that's but a fluke
A better Nigeria they scream, but even the good Nigeria, they are yet to improve
Recycling of old Cargos into the Confinement of power, to them; that how it should
The rich still getting rich, while the poor hardly survive the day!
The average work their Ass out, even at that, they're still yet to be paid
The youth are jobless, so all they do is hang on social media to show their savage and unnecessary hashtags campaign
While they build hundreds of houses, the less fortunate have no where to lay
While they travel overseas, the rest of Us are left to face the challenges they breed
Power outage for days is now like a normal thing
An increase in the price of commodities, even the masses can't afford a thing
Kidnapping and stealing has become a normal routine
At this Junction, we Need God's help including His blessings
I pray to God To Help Us, THE CITIZENS!
