DR. SHOLA HARUNA ADEOSUN BAGS OGUN STATE HEROES OF CHANGE AWARD

Communicators rejoice as Dr. Shola Haruna Adeosun, a senior lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta was presented with an award of 'Great Ambassador' for Academic Excellence in Ogun State by Flashlight Entertainment Group at Daktad Suites and Hotel in Abeokuta, on Sunday evening.

According to the Awards Organizer, who is also the publisher a broad spectrum society magazine, 'Flashlight Magazine", he described Dr. Adeosun as a great students' teacher and ambassador of society growth, who is worthy of emulation.

"This Ambassadorial Award is distinguishably given to Dr. Shola Haruna Adeosun for his contributions to media scholarship among other leadership roles he has been playing, which has impacted positively on the society", - the publisher said.

While receiving the Award, Dr. Adeosun in company of Comrade Adekunle Adejumo (Westo), a former Students' Union leader in MAPOLY, amidst some lecturers and other special guests also commended the organizers for the meritorious Award, and reiterated his commitment to societal growth and development, noting that; contributing and impacting on the lives and progress of the people and society have usually been a thing of pleasure to him, even before his calling as a lecturer.

Other recipients of the Ogun Heroes of Change Awards are: - The State Commander of the Ogun State Vigilante Services, Commander Soji Ganzallo for his contributions to security in the state. - Dr. Adewunmi Alayaki who has distinguished himself in the medical profession. - The C.E.O of Ogun State TRACE Corps, Commander Abdul-Fatai Olaseni Ogunyemi. - Asiwaju Wole Papa, Front line Abeokuta-based Juju Music Maestro. - Mr. Praise Folaji, founder Training Guide International. - Honourable Olawale Bello who is the Proprietor, Comprehensive Academy, Abeokuta among others.
