This belief that a or painted car is a bad car is a very wrong one being propagated by quack technicians.
A good car has NOTHING to do with it being "first body" or last body. repainting of a car doesnt determine how the engine or transmission of the car will run.

Bro, the moment u change the engine oil of a tokunbo car, the probability that the check engine light will permanently come on is almost 100%! You will of course do well by scanning the engine! Won't require much stress to interprete the codes! Buy I will also advise the the buyer runs one the scanner is showing too many issues to deal with!
I don't agree with you. I bought a Toks 2007 Honda Accord 2 years ago and up till now, the engine check light has only come on once (while I was driving from PH to Lagos) which I fixed with my car scanner. I also helped my neighbour fix his O2 sensor issue last year and he has changed his engine oil and no check light has returned since then.

It is just a matter of the owner wanting a clean dashboard. I hate that light with a passion.

Well bro you may not agree with me, this car am presently using is my third tokunbo car, only one which is a corrola did not give me that problem! While trying to fix the problem to no avail was when somebody an auto engineer told me what I told u! I also have a brother that sell cars his mechanic told me the same thing! Reason for my conclusion!
