you can't really associate him with Chelsea, since he was there for a few months. He gained popularity by playing for Milan and Psg

Okocha or Kanu Nwankwo too should come out and defeat our own 83 years old incumbent president I 2019

You think Hausa and Yoruba will allow such to happen. Tribalism and sentiments wont allow such welcome idea to be achieved in Nigeria.

Liberia has done it again. First female president on the African continent, first ex footballer president in Africa. Young and enigmatic. Football may be his natural calling, but there's no harm in injecting fresh young ideas into leadership.

Nigeria ntoo! Mmeee! If Buhari and atiku are the only people running for president in 2019 out of over 200million Nigerians with well over 60% youth population, then Nigeria can NEVER get it right! Donald Duke should try. Prof Utomi too. Peter Obi, Fayose, all those Yoruba business icons, let anyone who feels he has a lot to offer step forward. We the masses will support you. Fela Durotoye come and try too. No be to dey talk upandan. Talk is cheap. Me too, I'll contest...not for president though.

Congratulations to the great sport icon, looking forward to the day a former and well educated Nigeria Footballer will achieve this kind of laudable feat.

Well educated. How does that translate to good leadership. George Weah dropped out of school to concentrate on playing football.

Retired footballer George Weah has won the elections in Liberia to become that country's 25th president.

The senator of Montserrado County - once named Fifa World Player and winner of the much coveted Ballon d'or - defeated his 73-year-old opponent Vice President Joseph Boakai in a landslide victory in results announced in Liberia on Wednesday morning.fa

"I am deeply grateful to my family, my friends, and my loyal supporters who contributed to our campaign during this extremely long election season," Weah said on Twitter before the results were announced.

Weah is set to replace Africa’s first female head of state, economist and Nobel Peace Prize winner Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, and see the West African nation, founded by freed American slaves, hand over power from one democratically elected government to another.

It supposed to be former A.C Milan star George Weah wins Liberia Presidential Election. Point of correction, because he made history in Milan not Chelsea.

Age does not mean shiit when it comes to leadership. What matters is character which a huge percentage of Nigerians don't have. Is fayose, Saraki, dino, etc, not young? Then explain to me why they are phucked up in the head. Winston Churchill was 81 years old when he led Great Britain for a second time. So enlighten me as to why and how he was successful? How? Plus, he was a complete dullard in School. I'm waiting.
1. Age matters when you want to rule a country as complex and heterogenous as Nigeria.
2.Character is not enough to be a leader. See good intentions are not enough to lead alone. Most leaders who underperformed or failed woefully had good intention/character.
3.Saraki, Fayose and all are not my business.
4.NO. Churchill was 81 when he left power get that right! But lets talk about something else. Cannibalism is still very much legal in the UK, does itvmean it is right? So because any country we view as one of the 'elites' do something then it is right, and must be swallowed hook line and sinker?

1. Really? What is more complex than leading a country just coming out of a war that completely devastates the country's economy?

2. Spoken like a true Nigerian who's known corruption all his life. Character is everything for a leader. Let's use the United States army's values as an example; It's acronym is LDRSHIP; Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, Personal Courage. These are all character traits required to lead men. These words are foreign to Nigerians because hardly anyone has those character values in that country hence the predicament they find themselves.

3. Saraki and co. should be your business because they are a case study of the kind of people leading you in Nigeria.

4. Ok. My bad. Churchill was 77 year's old when he stopped being prime minister. Same difference. So, let's talk about something else. Your spew about cannibalism makes no sense at all at all. How would you acquire human flesh to consume in the UK in the first place without breaking the law? If you for example break into a mortuary to steal a dead body to consume, you would be charged with breaking and entering and then theft. If you decide to murder someone for the purpose of eating them, you would be charged with murder so i am here scratching my head as to what your point is. Some acts are implied and people do not always have to enact laws governing those acts. And yes, when a normal country does something that works, Nigerians should swallow it hook line and sinker. Obviously you guys cannot think for yourselves so you need to emulate. If na lie, then why Nigeria be like e be? Why?
